Join us and build for travelers everywhere.\nTechnical Operations Analyst II\nAs a Technical Operations Analyst II, you will investigate and resolve complex production incidents, support critical services, and contribute to service enhancements. You will lead small technical projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, mentor junior analysts, and identify opportunities to improve operational processes and customer experiences.\nWhat You’ll Do:\nSupport day-to-day operations in 24/7 production or equivalent technical environments.\nLead investigations and remediation efforts for high-impact service disruptions.\nAnalyze data, system patterns, and operational trends to identify root causes.\nResearch known solutions and recommend ways to prevent recurring issues.\nConfigure and operate cloud infrastructure using automation, code, and Infrastructure as Code practices.\nMonitor systems and test code to ensure reliable performance.\nParticipate in technology, infrastructure, and cross-functional projects.\nImprove chronic issues and product opportunities through data analysis and stakeholder collaboration.\nPrepare clear, concise, and evidence-based incident reports.\nDevelop and maintain technical support documentation.\nCommunicate technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.\nFacilitate collaboration among teams with different perspectives and areas of expertise.\nIdentify process inefficiencies and recommend practical improvements.\nSupport data collection, analysis, and initiatives that improve customer and employee satisfaction.\nMentor junior analysts and share technical knowledge with the team.\nWho You Are:\nYou have a Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of relevant experience, a Master’s degree with 0-2 years of experience, or equivalent practical experience.\nYou have a technical degree or background in infrastructure, cloud operations, software, or a related field.\nYou have broad knowledge of infrastructure services and moderately complex technical systems.\nYou understand cloud platforms, automation, Infrastructure as Code, observability, and operational tools.\nYou have moderate proficiency in at least one programming language.\nYou understand basic APIs, data access patterns, software development concepts, and CI/CD environments.\nYou are a strong analytical thinker and can identify patterns, risks, and underlying problems.\nYou communicate clearly and can explain complex technical topics in simple, actionable terms.\nYou take ownership, work well across teams, and are comfortable leading investigations.\nYou are proactive about improving processes, services, and operational efficiency.\nYou can balance technical priorities with business and customer needs.\nPreferred certifications include CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, and AWS Associate certification.\nAccommodation requests\nExpedia Group is committed to providing an inclusive and accessible recruiting experience.
