The DQP is new to EG and is already garnering the attention of Senior Leaders. As part of the larger Data Platform org, our goal is to integrate Data Quality into other data tools allowing users to seamlessly onboard data quality rules during any data tasks. consistently with tech leadership in the local organization, leads complex and vaguely-defined projects, and stretches into team leadership skills based on current projects.\n\nExperience:\nA Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.\nProven experience as a Java Software Engineer or similar role with 3 years of professional Java development experience.\nStrong understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns.\nExperience with Java frameworks and technologies such as Spring, Hibernate, JPA, etc.\nExperience with Agentic Coding using AI tools such as (Claude, Co-Pilot, Codex, etc).\nExperience with databases and SQL, preferably with [specific database technologies].\nKnowledge of version control systems, preferably Git.\nExcellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.\nStrong communication and teamwork abilities.\n\nPreferred Skills:\nExperience with microservices architecture and RESTful API design.\nFamiliarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.\nExperience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.\nKnowledge of DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes).\n\nIn this role you will:\nMentor other engineers (Individual Contributor I, II).\nCreate team project systems.\nGuide integrations across teams within business unit.\nUnderstand highly complex systems and design moderately complex systems.\nIdentify and advocates for project quality via testing, monitoring and alerting at the project level.\nEstablish operational excellence metrics at the team level.\nGuide others in design of software that is easily testable and observable.\nHave a strong understanding of how team goals fit a business need.\nIdentify business problems at the team level and provide solutions.\n\nExperience with Data Quality tools, and Data Anomaly detection a plus.\nSkills\nGit, Hibernate, JPA, Java, SQL,
