You will coordinate engineering, product, business, and partner teams; establish clear delivery plans; and proactively identify and mitigate risks to ensure program success.\nThe ideal candidate combines technical fluency with strong program management, communication, and stakeholder skills. You will bring structure to ambiguity, influence without direct authority, and adapt delivery practices to the needs of the project.\nIn this role, you will:\nLead increasingly complex technical projects across multiple teams, systems, and organizational boundaries.\nTranslate business objectives into project goals, requirements, schedules, milestones, dependencies, and measurable outcomes.\nDefine timeframes, prioritize work, identify resource needs, and make recommendations for people, technology, and partners.\nMonitor progress against milestones, timelines, specifications, requirements, and budget.\nCreate, track, and report on project budgets and delivery status.\nProactively identify risks and dependencies, lead mitigation planning, and escalate issues with clear recommendations.\nKeep stakeholders informed of progress, decisions, tradeoffs, and schedule changes.\nFacilitate alignment among stakeholders with varied perspectives and coordinate solutions to issues.\nApply Agile or traditional delivery methods as appropriate; lead and mentor others through Agile ceremonies.\nSupport the software and product development lifecycles from planning and requirements through delivery, launch, and adoption.\nIdentify process bottlenecks and opportunities to simplify workflows, reuse patterns, and improve efficiency across organizational boundaries.\nUse data, feedback, and retrospectives to evaluate process changes and improve delivery predictability.\nBuild stakeholder trust by understanding business challenges, addressing concerns, and communicating a compelling rationale for decisions.\nMinimum qualifications\n4-6 years of relevant experience with a bachelor’s degree, or 3+ years with a master’s degree, in technical program management, project management, software delivery, product development, or a related discipline.\nExperience leading medium-to-complex technical programs across multiple teams, including scope, milestones, dependencies, risks, budget, and success metrics.\nWorking knowledge of the software development lifecycle, Agile and traditional delivery methods, and Agile engineering practices.\nTechnical fluency across system architecture, APIs, data flows, cloud platforms, dependencies, and operational readiness.\nAbility to use data and metrics to track delivery health, guide prioritization, identify risks, and improve processes.\nStrong planning, organization, problem-solving, systems-thinking, and risk-management skills.\nAbility to align stakeholders, facilitate tradeoff decisions, build trust, and influence without direct authority.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to simplify complex technical and business information for different audiences.\nPreferred qualifications\nExperience supporting platform, infrastructure, cloud modernization, data, cybersecurity, developer productivity, or customer-facing technology projects.\nExperience working in a global, matrixed, or highly regulated environment.\nFamiliarity with Jira, Confluence, or equivalent project management tools.\nThe total cash range for this position in Springfield is $121,000.00 to $169,500.00. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $193,500.00, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.\nStarting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, available budget, and an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience.
