You will work directly with military users, mission planners, and government stakeholders while partnering closely with Expedition's engineers, program teams, Mission Leads, Operations Leads, and Business Development team.\nThis role is especially well suited to someone with experience supporting military mission planning, targeting, command and control, operational planning, joint operations, expeditionary operations, or similar mission-focused environments.\nExperience working with Marine Corps organizations is particularly valuable, though experience supporting joint planning environments or other military services may also be applicable\nWhat You'll Do\nConnect Operators and Technologists\nBuild trusted relationships with operators, mission planners, and mission-support personnel.\nUnderstand how military organizations mission plan, develop courses of action, assess risk, and support operational decision-making.\nTranslate operational challenges and user needs into actionable feedback for EXP teams.\nHelp engineers and program teams better understand mission workflows, decision cycles, training requirements, and operational constraints.\nEnsure operator perspectives remain visible throughout the development lifecycle.\nDrive Operational Adoption\nSupport the transition of EXP capabilities into operational environments and sustained mission use.\nHelp users integrate new technologies into existing planning and execution workflows.\nIdentify barriers to adoption and work with customers and program teams to address them.\nGather operational feedback and help shape future capability development.\nEvaluate how capabilities perform in operational environments and recommend improvements.\nSupport Customer Engagement and Mission Success\nParticipate in customer meetings, demonstrations, exercises, operational evaluations, and field events.\nAssist with training, onboarding, and customer support activities.\nHelp build confidence and trust in EXP capabilities across operational organizations.\nServe as a trusted interface between operational users and program teams.\nSupport customer success efforts that contribute to long-term mission impact and continued program growth.\nShape Requirements and Future Capabilities\nHelp identify emerging mission needs and operational challenges.\nSupport requirements development and capability prioritization efforts.\nContribute operational insight to roadmap discussions, proposals, captures, and business-development activities.\nHelp Mission Leads and program teams understand where customer missions, operational concepts, and technology trends are heading.\nEnsure operational lessons learned influence future capability development.\nWhat We're Looking For\nRequired\nActive TS/SCI clearance.\nExperience supporting military operations, mission planning, targeting, command and control, intelligence support, joint operations, expeditionary operations, or related mission functions.\nExperience working directly with operational users and mission stakeholders.\nStrong understanding of how military organizations develop plans, make decisions, and employ capabilities.\nAbility to communicate effectively with both technical and operational audiences.\nExperience building trusted customer relationships.\nStrong communication, facilitation, and relationship-management skills.\nWillingness to travel regularly to customer locations and operational events.\nPreferred\nExperience working with Marine Corps organizations is particularly valuable; however, experience across joint, service, or combined military environments is also highly relevant.\nExperience participating in exercises, operational evaluations, demonstrations, or field deployments.\nExperience training users or supporting operational adoption of new capabilities.\nFamiliarity with AI/ML-enabled systems, computer vision, sensor processing, mission-planning tools, autonomy, or advanced analytics.\nExperience contributing to requirements generation, concept development, operational assessments, or acquisition activities.\nBachelor's degree in a technical, military, scientific, or related discipline.\nWho is Expedition Technology?\nExpedition Technology (EXP) designs, develops, and delivers innovative solutions with national impact for the defense and intelligence communities.
