Our high retention rate is influenced by a unique compensation program for positions that are more than just jobs - they're chances to grow, do what you love and build a career with us!\n The Customs Operations Agent is responsible for coordinating and executing all operational activities related to customs clearance, port operations, cargo release, and transportation coordination. This role ensures the timely and compliant movement of shipments while maintaining excellent communication with carriers, ports, warehouses, customs authorities, and transportation providers.\nKey Responsibilities\nCoordinate and manage cargo routing and dispatch instructions for import and export shipments.\nProcess and obtain delivery orders and port release documentation.\nHandle Bill of Lading (BL) release procedures, including obtaining required endorsements and carrier approvals (Visto Bueno).\nCoordinate and process Gate In operations and related terminal requirements.\nSchedule cargo pickup appointments and coordinate transportation services with trucking companies, warehouses, terminals, and ports.\nArrange and manage extraordinary operational services when required.\nCoordinate empty container return appointments with designated depots and terminals.\nSubmit payment requests and ensure invoice regularization and reconciliation within 48 hours of receipt.\nMaintain accurate operational records and update internal systems with shipment status and documentation.\nMonitor shipment milestones and proactively resolve operational issues that may impact service delivery.\nEnsure compliance with local customs regulations, company procedures, and operational standards.\nSupport additional operational and administrative tasks as required by management.\n Minimum 1-3 years of experience in customs operations, freight forwarding, logistics, or port operations.\nKnowledge of customs clearance processes, shipping documentation, and import/export procedures.\nExperience coordinating with shipping lines, ports, warehouses, and transportation providers.\nExcellent communication and interpersonal abilities.\nAbility to work under
