Expeditors International (NYSE: EXPD) is a Fortune 500 global logistics, freight forwarding, and supply chain management enterprise headquartered in Seattle, Washington. Founded in 1979 by Peter Rose, James Wang, and John Kaiser, the company operates under a non-asset-based business model, meaning it does not own cargo ships, aircraft, or fleet vehicles. Instead, Expeditors leverages a global network across more than 300 locations to consolidate cargo, purchase transport capacity in bulk from commercial carriers, and manage complex end-to-end supply chains.
