Our high retention rate is influenced by a unique compensation program for positions that are more than just jobs - they're chances to grow, do what you love and build a career with us!\n The Role of the Transition & Implementation Manager\nThe Transition & Implementation manager is responsible for planning and managing a successful customer transition from the award of business through the daily execution of branch operations. They are a single point of contact for accounts identified as requiring special attention based on the complexity of the scope of services (size, multi-product, IS requirements).\nThe T&I Manager will direct and manage the day-to-day activities of implementing new business within the Expeditors Network. This is accomplished by defining the scope and complexity of the business to be transitioned. The T&I manager will direct cross-functional teams comprised of customer, local operation, analysts, Product and IS (support/development) personnel. Communication is required in many forms: email, project management tools and conference calls. They are responsible for successfully implementing operational and systems solutions according to the scope of services.\nMajor Duties & Responsibilities\nDefine business awarded\nDevelop a transition timeline for both business and systems.\nCommunicate customer's requirements to management\nDocument and implement agreed upon procedures.\nManage transition resources, scope, schedule and quality\nPoint of contact for customer, sales, management, etc.\nFacilitate the resolution of open issues and minimize risk\nCommunicate project status to transition team, sponsors and Branch operations\nSuccessfully close a transition through a service review (Quality Management Review)\nSignificant travel required.
