This is a hands-on accounting role focused on daily bookkeeping, multi-channel sales accounting, reconciliations, inventory and COGS accounting, monthly financial reporting, and financial analysis.\nThe ideal candidate has strong bookkeeping fundamentals, prior experience supporting eCommerce or online retail businesses, and a solid understanding of inventory accounting. This role will also work closely with leadership to provide financial insights and support budgeting, forecasting, and process improvements.\nShift:US Business Hours (12AM - 9AM PHT, 1 hour lunch break)\nWork Arrangement:Remote (Philippines)\nWhat You'll Do:\nMaintain accurate financial records across AP, AR, payroll, inventory, amortizations, and other accounts.\nRecord and reconcile daily sales transactions across multiple eCommerce platforms, including Amazon, Shopify, and TikTok.\nReconcile payment processor accounts, including PayPal, Stripe, Amazon Payments, and TikTok.\nManage accounts payable, including vendor payments, expense tracking, and related documentation.\nPerform monthly account reconciliations and auditsto identify errors, discrepancies, or unusual transactions.\nPrepare accurate monthly P&L statements and financial reportsfor management review.\nProvide monthly financial analysis, highlighting trends, variances, cost-saving opportunities, and business insights.\nManage inventory valuation and COGS recognition, including physical inventory counts and reconciliations.\nSupport month-end closing proceduresand ensure all accounts are properly reconciled and up to date.\nAssist with budget preparation and financial forecasting.\nPartner with leadership to provide clear financial reporting and support data-driven business decisions.\nIdentify irregular or unusual financial activity and promptly flag potential issuesto the appropriate stakeholders.\nAssist with special projects, ad-hoc financial analysis, and process improvement initiativesas needed.\nRecommend improvements to accounting and financial processes to improve accuracy and efficiency.\nWhat You Need:\n3-5 years of bookkeeping experiencewith a strong understanding of GAAP principles.\nPrior eCommerce or online retail accounting experience is required.\nSolid understanding of inventory accounting, COGS, amortization, and cost recognition.\nExperience handling multi-channel eCommerce transactions and reconciliations.\nProficiency in accounting software, with QuickBooks experience preferred.\nAdvanced Excel or Google Sheetsskills and the ability to work with financial data.\nStrong analytical skills with the ability to translate financial data into clear, actionable business insights.\nHigh attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy and data integrity.\nStrong problem-solving skills and the ability to investigate and resolve discrepancies.\nAbility to work independently and proactivelyin a remote environment.\nStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet reporting deadlines.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.\nExperience with Amazon FBA accountingand multi-channel eCommerce operations.\nExperience working with inventory management systems.\nKnowledge of cost accounting methodologies.\nTrack record of implementing process improvementswithin financial or accounting operations.\nTechnical Requirements\nFiber internet (PLDT Fiber, Converge, Globe Fiber, etc.) - recommended speed of 100/50 Mbps\nBackup internet (mobile hotspot or secondary ISP) capable of at least 20 Mbps\nQuiet, conducive home workspace\nOPTIONAL: Wired Ethernet connection preferred during work hours\nOPTIONAL: Power backup (UPS) if the location experiences frequent outages\nCandidate Data & Privacy Notice\nBy submitting your application to Expedock, you acknowledge and consent to the collection, use, and processing of your personal information for recruitment and hiring purposes.
