The centre has a focus on responsible, measurable impact.\nThis is a hybrid role reporting into the Head of Automation for someone who enjoys both shaping ideas and bringing them to life.\nYou'll work across two connected areas:\nOpportunity discovery and product ownership: identifying, refining, and validating AI and automation use cases\nPrototyping and technical scoping: building and testing solutions using low-code tools and latest technologies\nAn important part of your role is the ability to switch between focusing on pipeline and opportunity shaping, into hands-on delivery to remove bottlenecks and accelerate progress.\nWho are we looking for?\nSomeone who is:\nComfortable working with early-stage, ambiguous ideas and turning them into structured opportunities\nHands-on and curious, with an interest in testing and building solutions quickly\nMotivated by learning- new AI capabilities and low-code tools as they emerge\nYou will connect needs, data, and technology to make better decisions\nA big part of the job is choosing the right approach - when AI is valuable, and when simpler analytics or Automation is the better answer. This is not a pure developer role, and not a traditional product owner role. It sits between both-focused on turning ideas into tangible outcomes.\nWhat you'll do\nWork with partners to translate business problems into clearly defined user cases\nBuild and manage a pipeline of AI and automation opportunities\nAssess feasibility, value and suitability of AI vs traditional approaches\nScope solutions, defining MVP, success criteria and experimentation approaches\nDevelop rapid prototypes and MVPs using low-code / no-code platforms\nCommunicate outcomes, including trade-offs, risks, and recommendations\nExplore and apply new tools to improve how we deliver\n Experience in a product, digital, or technical role where you have shaped and delivered solutions\nExperience communicating product benefits appropriate for each prospect, with experience working across business and technical partners\nYou will have experience translating business problems into structured use cases and deliverable solutions\nComfortable working in uncertain or exploratory environments, using experimentation to guide progress\nA curiosity for AI and automation, and an interest in how they are applied in real-world settings\nIt would be great if you also have\nExposure to AI use cases such as generative AI, classification, or workflow automation\nExperience running experiments, pilots, or MVP-style delivery\nExperience with low-code / no-code platforms\nExperience explaining technical concepts or analysis to non-technical partners\n Benefits package includes:\nHybrid working - 40% office based\nGreat compensation package and discretionary bonus plan\nCore benefits include pension, bupa healthcare, sharesave scheme and more!\n25 days annual leave with 8 bank holidays and 3 volunteering days.
