We have an amazing team of 25,200 people in 32 countries.\n We are seeking a junior Business Intelligence & Data Engineering Analyst on a 12 month FTC to support the development of dashboards, data pipelines, and analytics solutions.\nYou will work with Power BI, Python, SQL, and AWS while partnering with business and technical team members to turn data into meaningful insights.\nThis is a Hybrid, Nottingham based role (40% in the office) reporting to the Vice President for Enterprise AI Programs\nWhat You'll Work On\nPower BI & Data Visualization\nAssist in building and enhancing Power BI dashboards and reports\nCreate and modify DAX measures, calculated columns, and basic time-intelligence calculations\nHelp develop data models using concepts such as star schemas and table relationships\nSupport dashboard performance, usability, and data-quality improvements\nCreate clear visualizations that help business stakeholders understand trends, performance, and opportunities\nLearn how to design dashboards and analytics for senior and executive audiences\nData Engineering & ETL\nDevelop and enhance Python-based data pipelines with guidance from the team\nConnect to REST APIs and work with JSON and other structured data\nClean, transform, and validate datasets using Python libraries such as pandas\nHelp implement error handling, logging, and data-quality checks\nWrite clean, reusable, and well-documented Python code\nLoad and manage structured data in relational databases\nWrite SQL queries to retrieve, combine, and analyze data\nData Modeling & Metrics\nHelp translate business questions into measurable KPIs and metrics\nSupport the design and validation of calculated metrics\nIdentify relationships across datasets and help integrate data from multiple sources\nPerform data-quality checks to ensure dashboards and analyses are accurate\nInvestigate discrepancies and help determine root causes\nWork with the team to turn loosely defined business questions into analytical approaches\n Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field\nSome programming skills in Python and SQL\nFamiliarity with data visualization or BI tools i.e. Power BI.\nAcademic or personal projects creating dashboards, ETL pipelines, or data engineering\nUnderstanding of basic data concepts such as tables, relationships, joins, aggregations, and data quality\nSome technical skills in one or more of the following - REST APIs, JSON, MySQL, AWS, GIT\n Benefits package includes:\nHybrid working - 40% office based\nGreat compensation package and discretionary bonus\nCore benefits include Pension, Bupa healthcare, Sharesave Scheme and more\n25 days annual leave with 8 bank holidays and 3 volunteering days.
