The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java, microservices, serverless architecture, Docker, EKS and search technologies such as Solr or open search.\nThis role suits someone who has resolved high-priority search incidents in production and can work across a distributed, multi-cluster search estate. Day-to-day operations demand strong distributed search systems knowledge, hands-on comfort with that stack is essential.\nWhat you'll do\nLead and mentor a team of engineers, providing guidance and support for their professional development.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.\nStay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to drive innovation within the team.\nDesign, develop, and implement scalable software solutions using Java, microservices architecture, Docker, EKS, Search systems with Solr or Open Search, AWS services\nEnsure high quality software delivery through best practices in coding, testing, and deployment.\nActively participate in sprints, contributing hands-on to software development and implementation.\nMaintain unit tests and contribute to test automation to ensure software reliability and maintainability.\nManage risks and technical impediments, communicating with leadership to ensure project success.\nTroubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues efficiently.\nProvide technical guidance and support to team members as needed\nQualifications:\nBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.\n10 Years of total experience and 5+ years of experience in java, microservices, python, SQL and NoSQL database technologies\nAt least 4 years of experience in managing people\nDrive AI adoption to improve engineering productivity, software quality, and operational efficiency.\nExperience in search technologies such as Solr or Open Search\nExpertise of AWS Services like EC2, EKS and Lambda.\nFamiliarity with DevOps practices and tools.\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.\nCertification in cloud platforms.\nExperience building AI-enabled solutions.\n Our uniqueness is that we celebrate yours.
