They are creators, architects, nurses, researchers, programmers, marketers, facilitators, developers, investors, and caregivers, all focused on making a positive impact on the lives of residents, their families and team members.\nWe are looking for a Chauffeur - Driver to join our amazing team!\nResponsibilities:\nDrive vehicle from community to social and other various destinations according to assigned schedule.\nAssist residents into and out of vehicle in a safe manner.\nSecure passengers' wheelchairs to restraining devices to stabilize wheelchairs during trip.\nPractice safe driving techniques at all times.\nClean and service vehicle with fuel, lubricants, and accessories and report and coordinate vehicle maintenance repairs.\nEstablish and monitor daily and weekly trip inspection and preventative maintenance programs, as well as maintain records regarding the maintenance of all vehicles.\nDeliver groceries and other belongings to resident’s apartments.\nAssist the Resident Experience Department in activities and programs as needed.\nEnsure charges are submitted to the business office daily for community travel expenses.\nMaintain a safe driving record according to Company guidelines.\nHandle emergency situations and basic First Aid.\nReport potentially unsafe conditions to the Executive Director.\nMay perform other duties as needed and/or assigned.\nRequirements\nHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one (1) to three (3) months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.\nFive (5) or more years of driving experience and knowledge of vehicle preventative maintenance programs.\nAble to operate a seven (7) to sixteen (16) passenger bus, unless otherwise required by ESL or state law. Able to operate a limousine or car, tire changing equipment, First Aid Kit, wheelchair lift, and dollies/hand trucks.\nExperienced with vehicle emergency repairs, able to change automobile tires and handle minor on-road maintenance.\nKnowledgeable of all streets within an 8-mile radius of the community.\nPosition requires driving responsibilities (may use Company provided vehicle and/or personal vehicle).\nMust satisfactorily meet and be in compliance with Motor Vehicle Record Policy standards.\nConnect and help residents transition from home to community through thoughtful engagement at every level of interaction\nAbility to work varied schedules to include weekends, evenings, and holidays.\nBenefits\nWe offer a full benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, STD/LTD, life and voluntary life, 401k with employer matching, paid holidays, and up to 20 days PTO in the first three years.\nBackground Screening Requirement\nEmployment is contingent upon successful completion of background screening in accordance with Florida law and company policy.
