Only outcome.\nThink big.\nLearn more about our core values here!\nRequirements\nWe are looking for a detail-oriented Associate SDET to support quality assurance for our self-service kiosk platform. This is a hands-on, hybrid position focused on manual and exploratory testing, with opportunities to contribute to test automation.\nYou will work directly with physical kiosks, including lockers, scanners, and connected devices, to validate end-to-end workflows, identify defects, and support reliable product releases.\nKey Responsibilities\nManual and Hardware Testing\nExecute functional, exploratory, smoke, sanity, and regression tests on physical kiosks.\nValidate end-to-end workflows, including device pickup, return, activation/deactivation, locker operations, and error recovery.\nTest hardware-software interactions, including device detection, locker doors, scanners, timeouts, connectivity interruptions, and recovery scenarios.\nCreate, execute, and maintain manual test cases and supporting test data.\nIdentify, document, and track defects in Jira with reproducible steps, logs, and supporting evidence.\nInvestigate test failures and collaborate with developers to troubleshoot and verify fixes.\nParticipate in UAT and release validation activities.\nMaintain test devices and ensure kiosk readiness for daily testing.\nCommunicate testing progress, risks, and blockers proactively.\nTest Automation\nExecute existing Cypress/TypeScript UI and API automated tests and review results.\nInvestigate automation failures to distinguish product defects from test or environment issues.\nAssist with maintaining existing automation scripts and monitoring CI pipelines under guidance.\nDevelop automation skills through hands-on contributions and mentorship.\nQualifications\n0-2 years in software development or QA, including internships/co-ops\nUnderstanding of testing fundamentals: test-case design, defect lifecycle, regression testing\nAbility to write clear test cases and reproducible defect reports\nComfort reading logs and navigating a Linux environment\nBasic SQL\nStrong analytical and written communication skills, and willingness to work hands-on with physical hardware\nProficiency in at least one programming language (Python, Java, TypeScript, etc)\nPreferred Qualifications\nExposure to API testing tools (Postman or similar), Chrome DevTools, or Git\nExposure to Cypress or Playwright\nKiosk, IoT, embedded, POS, or hardware-integrated testing\nTest-management tools such as Xray, Zephyr, or TestRail\nExposure to Agentic AI tools such as Codex, Claude Code\nThe Candidate\nYou think several steps ahead.
