Only outcome.\nThink big.\nRequirements\nAbout the Role\nARC by ChargeItSpot is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to design, build, and maintain the core platform services our engineering teams rely on. This role owns the CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, GitOps workflows, and observability tooling that keep deployments fast and reliable, along with the KubeEdge orchestration tooling that runs on ARC kiosks. Reporting to the Lead Site Reliability Engineer, you will work closely with SRE, QA, operations, and development teams to support scalable and secure environments.\nResponsibilities\nDesign, build, and maintain core platform services used by engineering teams.\nArchitect and enhance CI/CD pipelines to ensure fast, reliable, and repeatable deployments.\nBuild automation for infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and lifecycle management.\nBuild observability tooling capabilities, including reporting, alerting, and logging.\nImplement and maintain GitOps workflows (ArgoCD) for configuration and deployment consistency.\nCreate reusable tooling, frameworks, and templates that accelerate developer productivity.\nCollaborate closely with SRE, QA, operations, and development teams to support scalable and secure environments.\nManage and build KubeEdge orchestration tooling for our kiosks.\nEstablish platform best practices and documentation for internal teams.\nTroubleshoot CI/CD, platform services, and infrastructure issues impacting the engineering organization.\nQualifications\n8+ years of experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps, or Infrastructure Engineering.\nStrong expertise in Kubernetes, containerization, and cloud-native architectures.\nProficiency with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred).\nExperience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using modern tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab, etc.).\nStrong scripting/automation skills in Bash, Python, or Go.\nHands-on experience implementing GitOps practices using ArgoCD or Flux.\nFamiliarity with logging, monitoring, and alerting tools used across engineering teams.\nStrong understanding of cloud services (AWS/Azure/GCP) and distributed system fundamentals.\nAbility to design reusable platform components and improve developer experience.\nExcellent communication and collaboration skills across cross-functional engineering groups.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience working on edge devices or IoT platforms.\nLocation\nThis is a hybrid position.We are headquartered in Philadelphia, PA and the team operates on East Coast US business hours.
