You'll work closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, IT, Risk, and operational stakeholders to strengthen cyber resilience, reduce risk, and ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.\nKey Responsibilities\nStrategy & Governance\nDevelop and maintain the OT cybersecurity strategy and roadmap aligned to business objectives.\nEstablish OT security policies, standards, and governance frameworks.\nProvide expert guidance on OT cyber risk, controls, investments, and best practices.\nLead OT cybersecurity audits and remediation activities.Risk Management & Compliance\nConduct OT cyber risk assessments and vulnerability reviews.\nIdentify, assess, and mitigate risks across industrial and operational environments.\nEnsure compliance with industry standards and frameworks including:\nIEC 62443\nNIST Cybersecurity Framework (CSF)\nNIS2\nISO 27001\nSupport compliance with sector-specific regulatory requirements.Security Architecture & Implementation\nDesign and maintain secure OT network architectures.\nEnsure effective segmentation between IT and OT environments.\nReview and approve OT technology deployments from a cybersecurity perspective.\nSupport the secure adoption of Industrial IoT (IIoT), cloud-connected systems, and remote access solutions.Incident Response & Operational Security\nDevelop and maintain OT-specific incident response processes.\nLead investigations and response activities for OT cybersecurity incidents.\nCoordinate with IT Security Operations, engineering teams, and third-party providers during security events.\nMonitor emerging OT threats and vulnerabilities.Asset Security & Continuous Improvement\nMaintain visibility of OT assets, systems, and communication networks.\nOversee OT vulnerability management, patching, and remediation programmes.\nEnsure secure configuration and lifecycle management of industrial assets.\nDrive continuous improvement across OT security controls and operational resilience.Stakeholder Engagement\nAct as the primary OT cybersecurity subject matter expert.\nPartner with plant managers, engineers, maintenance teams, and IT security teams.\nManage relationships with external suppliers, auditors, and regulatory bodies.\nDeliver security awareness programmes and promote a security-first culture across operational teams.Essential Skills & Experience\nProven experience in Operational Technology (OT) Cyber Security leadership roles.\nStrong knowledge of:\nIndustrial Control Systems (ICS)\nSCADA environments\nManufacturing and operational technology networks\nExperience developing and implementing OT cybersecurity strategies and governance frameworks.\nStrong understanding of OT security architecture, network segmentation, and industrial protocols.\nExperience managing OT security incidents, vulnerabilities, and risk assessments.\nKnowledge of OT-focused cybersecurity frameworks and standards, including:\nIEC 62443\nNIST CSF\nNIS2\nISO 27001\nAbility to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels.\nStrong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.Desirable Experience\nIndustrial IoT (IIoT) security.\nCritical national infrastructure, utilities, manufacturing, energy, or defence sector experience.\nCloud-connected industrial systems.\nCybersecurity
