You'll work closely with engineering, DevOps, security, and business teams to define strategy, drive best practices, and ensure successful delivery of cloud-native solutions.\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign and govern enterprise-scale cloud and data architectures on AWS.\nDefine architecture standards, patterns, and best practices across cloud platforms.\nLead architecture activities covering:\nData Platforms\nAPIs\nMicroservices\nEvent-Driven Architectures\nServerless Solutions\nProvide technical leadership to engineering, DevOps, and data teams.\nDrive cloud migration and modernisation initiatives.\nEnsure solutions comply with security, governance, and regulatory requirements.\nLead architecture reviews, assurance activities, and design governance.\nSupport performance optimisation, operational resilience, and cost management initiatives.\nEngage with senior stakeholders and translate business requirements into technical solutions.\nEssential Skills & Experience\nProven experience as a Senior Data Architect, Cloud Architect, or Solution Architect.\nStrong AWS expertise across services including:\nEC2\nLambda\nS3\nRDS\nDynamoDB\nIAM\nVPC\nCloudFront\nExperience designing scalable, highly available, and secure cloud architectures.\nStrong understanding of:\nData Architecture\nData Platforms\nCloud Migration\nApplication Modernisation\nMicroservices\nAPI-led Architectures\nExperience implementing security controls, governance, and compliance frameworks.\nStrong stakeholder management and technical leadership skills.\nDesirable Skills\nTerraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK.\nAWS Well-Architected Framework.\nDevOps and Infrastructure as Code practices.\nGDPR, ISO27001, and PCI-DSS compliance environments.\nContainerisation and cloud-native application architectures.\nExperience leading large-scale transformation programmes.\nWhat We're Looking For\nYou'll be a strategic and hands-on architect who can combine deep AWS expertise with strong leadership and stakeholder engagement skills.
