This role owns delivery predictability, team health, execution quality, operational excellence, and talent development while partnering closely with Product Management and Architecture. The Engineering Manager ensures teams consistently deliver high-quality software aligned to business priorities, engineering standards, and customer outcomes.\nResponsibilities:\nLead a cross-functional delivery POD with accountability for delivery execution, engineering quality, operational stability, and team performance.\n\nManage and develop engineers, quality engineers, and other technical contributors through coaching, feedback, career development, and performance management.\n\nOwn sprint execution, delivery predictability, release readiness, and dependency management across the POD.\n\nPartner with Product Management to translate roadmap priorities into executable delivery plans.\n\nDrive continuous improvement in engineering practices, testing strategies, automation adoption, and release quality.\n\nEnsure operational excellence through monitoring of delivery KPIs including throughput, defect escape rate, cycle time, reliability, and team health metrics.\n\nIdentify and remove organizational, technical, and process impediments impacting delivery velocity or quality.\n\nPromote accountability, collaboration, and ownership within the POD.\n\nSupport hiring, onboarding, succession planning, and workforce planning activities.\n\nCollaborate with peer delivery leaders to standardize delivery practices and improve cross-team coordination.\n\nChampion adoption of AI-assisted engineering and quality tools to improve developer productivity, test automation, delivery velocity, and operational efficiency.\n\nEnsure teams effectively leverage AI capabilities within development workflows while maintaining engineering standards, security, compliance, and code quality.\n\nEducation:\n7+ years of experience in software engineering, quality engineering, or technical delivery leadership.\n\n3+ years of people leadership experience managing cross-functional technical teams.\n\nStrong understanding of Agile delivery models, SDLC practices, CI/CD, quality engineering, and release management.\n\nExperience managing delivery risks, dependencies, capacity planning, and operational metrics.\n\nDemonstrated ability to lead engineers and QA professionals within a unified delivery model.\n\nStrong communication and stakeholder management skills.\n\nExperience operating in SaaS or healthcare technology environments preferred.\n\nEvery team member exhibits our core values:\nTeam First\n\nLift Others Up\n\nShare Openly\n\nSet and Crush Goals\n\nDelight the Client\n\nEqual Opportunity Employer\nThis employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
