This role will collaborate closely with software engineers, architects, DevOps teams, and product stakeholders to identify performance bottlenecks and drive continuous improvements across the softwaredevelopment lifecycle.\nThe ideal candidate has strong expertise in performance engineering, automation, cloud-native technologies, and CI/CD practices, with a passion for delivering high-quality software solutions.\nKey Responsibilities\nPerformance Testing & Engineering\nDesign and implement comprehensive performance testing strategies for web, mobile, API, and distributed applications.\n\nDevelop, execute, and maintain performance test scripts using tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, Gatling, k6, or NeoLoad.\n\nConduct load, stress, endurance, scalability, spike, and volume testing.\n\nDefine performance benchmarks, Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and Service Level Objectives (SLOs).\n\nAnalyze performance metrics and identify bottlenecks across application, database, infrastructure, and network layers.\n\nPerformance Analysis & Optimization\nCollaborate with development teams to troubleshoot and resolve performance issues.\n\nPerform root cause analysis using monitoring, profiling, and observability tools.\n\nRecommend application, database, and infrastructure optimizations.\n\nPrepare detailed performance reports and communicate findings to technical and business stakeholders.\n\nAutomation & CI/CD\nIntegrate performance testing into CI/CD pipelines.\n\nDevelop automated performance testing frameworks and reusable components.\n\nEstablish performance quality gates for release readiness.\n\nSupport shift-left testing initiatives by incorporating performance validation early in the development lifecycle.\n\nCloud & Modern Architecture Testing\nEvaluate performance of cloud-native applications, microservices, APIs, and containerized platforms.\n\nValidate system scalability and resilience under varying workloads.\n\nSupport reliability and fault-tolerance testing initiatives.\n\nLeadership & Collaboration\nMentor junior engineers and contribute to team development.\n\nParticipate in architecture reviews and provide performance engineering guidance.\n\nCollaborate with Product Management, Engineering, DevOps, Security, and Infrastructure teams.\n\nDrive adoption of performance testing best practices and standards.\n\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.\n\n7+ years of software testing experience with at least 4+ years focused on performance testing and engineering.\n\nStrong hands-on experience with:Apache JMeter/LoadRunner/Gatling/k6/NeoLoad\n\nExperience testing web applications, APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.\n\nStrong understanding of Performance testing methodologies, Scalability and capacity planning,Workload modeling, Reliability engineering\n\nExperience with relational and NoSQL databases and performance tuning concepts.\n\nKnowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.\n\nExperience with Docker and Kubernetes.\n\nFamiliarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps.\n\nStrong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience within healthcare technology environments.\n\nKnowledge of HL7 and FHIR interoperability standards.\n\nExperience with monitoring and observability platforms:\n\nDynatrace\n\nDatadog\n\nAppDynamics\n\nGrafana\n\nPrometheus\n\nNew Relic\n\nExperience with AI-assisted testing and performance analytics solutions.\n\nUnderstanding of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices.\n\nRelevant industry certifications.\n\nEvery team member exhibits our core values:\nTeam First\n\nLift Others Up\n\nShare Openly\n\nSet and Crush Goals\n\nDelight the Client\n\nEqual Opportunity Employer\nThis employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
