You will work closely with the scrum teams, utilizing your expertise in software testing and test automation methodologies to drive continuous improvement in our testing processes and deliver high-quality software solutions.\nResponsibilities:\nCollaborate with stakeholders of scrum team to understand project requirements, define test objectives, and develop test strategies and plans.\nDevelop, build, and maintain an in-house automation framework (developed using Python) with a focus on increasing automated test coverage of code.\nActively participate in building and maintaining test data for test environments that can articulate customer scenarios.\nExecute manual and automated tests to validate the functionality, performance, and scalability of software applications.\nConduct thorough root cause analysis of defects and work closely with the development team to identify, track, and resolve issues effectively.\nParticipate in code reviews to ensure testability, adherence to best practices, and efficient automation.\nMentor and provide technical guidance to junior members of the testing team, promoting knowledge sharing and skill development.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams, to ensure smooth software delivery cycles.\nContinuously enhance and maintain test environments, tools, and frameworks to improve test automation efficiency and reliability.\nDevelop and maintain testing guidelines, standards, and procedures to ensure consistent and effective testing practices.\nStay up to date with the latest industry trends, emerging technologies, and advancements in software testing methodologies.\nOther duties as assigned.\nEducation:\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.\nExperience :\n6+ years of hands-on experience in software testing, including experience in test automation.\nStrong understanding of software testing concepts, methodologies, and best practices.\nProficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Java, C#, Python) for test automation scripting.\nExperience with database testing and SQL.\nExperience with API testing and tools (e.g., Postman, REST Assured).\nExperience with test automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium, JUnit, TestNG) for web and mobile applications.\nSolid knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.\nFamiliarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.\nExcellent problem-solving and debugging skills with a keen attention to detail.\nStrong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.\nSelf-motivated and proactive, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.\nKnowledge of performance testing concepts and tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner, AppLoader).\nFamiliarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).\nUnderstanding of security testing principles and techniques.\nCertification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB) is a plus.\nPreferred:\nKnowledge of performance testing concepts and tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner, AppLoader).\nFamiliarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).\nUnderstanding of security testing principles and techniques.\nCertification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB) is a plus.\nEvery team member exhibits our core values:\nTeam First\nLift Others Up\nShare Openly\nSet and Crush Goals\nDelight the Client\nEqual Opportunity Employer\nThis employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
