You will be a hands-on senior engineer, contributing to architecture, code quality, technical decisions, and the continuous improvement of our mobile development practices. You will work closely with Product, Engineering, and other stakeholders to maintain and improve our existing applications while helping evolve the platform toward a modern, scalable architecture.\nWe are looking for someone who is comfortable operating as a senior hands-on engineer and taking ownership of complex technical challenges. You should be able to dive deeply into the code, contribute to architectural decisions, solve difficult engineering problems, and collaborate effectively with the rest of the development team. You care about building reliable and maintainable products, not simply delivering features. You are comfortable questioning existing approaches when there is a better solution and can clearly explain the technical reasoning behind your recommendations.\nYOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR FOLLOWING TASKS:\nBuild & Architect\nDesign, develop, and continuously improve core components of our mobile platform using Flutter and Dart.\nContribute to architectural decisions and help ensure solutions are scalable, maintainable, testable, and performant.\nSupport the evolution of our existing application portfolio toward a modern architecture.\nEvaluate and propose engineering practices, tools, and technical improvements that increase product and development quality.\nDevelop High-Quality Mobile Applications\nBuild and maintain reliable, performant, and user-focused mobile applications.\nTake ownership of complex technical tasks and features from implementation through production.\nTroubleshoot technical issues, identify root causes, and implement sustainable solutions.\nContribute to the ongoing maintenance and improvement of our current mobile application portfolio.\nMaintain Engineering Quality\nConduct regular code reviews and provide constructive, actionable feedback.\nPromote clean, maintainable, and well-tested code across the mobile codebase.\nApply appropriate architectural patterns, OOP principles, SOLID practices, and platform-specific best practices.\nIdentify technical debt and contribute to discussions around prioritization and resolution.\nCollaborate & Plan\nActively participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, technical discussions, and task estimations.\nWork closely with Product and other Engineering teams to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.\nContribute to technical planning and help identify dependencies, risks, and suitable implementation approaches.\nCollaborate with other developers to solve complex technical problems and improve development practices.\nShare Knowledge & Improve\nSupport less experienced developers through code reviews, technical discussions, and knowledge sharing.\nContribute to a culture of continuous technical improvement and collaboration.\nCreate and maintain clear technical documentation covering architecture, integrations, development practices, and important technical decisions.\nContinuously improve development processes, tooling, testing practices, and ways of working.\nWHAT QUALIFIES YOU TO JOIN US ON OUR MISSION\nExperience\n5+ years of professional mobile application development experience across Android and/or iOS.\nStrong experience working as a Senior Developer or in a comparable hands-on engineering role.\nStrong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with Engineering, Product, and other functions.\nA strong sense of ownership and accountability for the quality of the software you build.\nFlutter & Dart\n3+ years of hands-on commercial Flutter development experience.\nStrong knowledge of Dart, particularly asynchronous programming, Streams, and reactive programming concepts such as RxDart.\nAt least one Flutter application successfully released to production through the Apple App Store and/or Google Play Store.\nStrong understanding of Flutter application architecture, performance considerations, and development best practices.\nMobile Engineering\nStrong understanding of mobile application architecture and platform-specific development considerations.\nSolid experience integrating applications with REST APIs and WebSockets/socket-based communication.\nStrong understanding of application lifecycle, networking, state management, error handling, and performance optimization.\n Code Quality & Software Design\nStrong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and SOLID principles.\nExperience designing clean, modular, maintainable, and testable applications.\nStrong attention to code quality and consistency.\nComfortable reviewing code and contributing to shared engineering standards.\nNice to have\nExperience with native mobile development technologies such as Kotlin, Java, and/or Swift.\nExperience configuring or working with mobile CI/CD pipelines.\nPractical experience writing Unit, Integration, and Functional tests for mobile applications.\nExperience with large-scale or high-traffic consumer applications.\nExperience modernizing or migrating an existing mobile application architecture.\nExperience contributing to development standards, architecture guidelines, or engineering processes.\nWHAT WE WILL BRING AS BACKUP\nOur people are at the heart of everything we stand for and will go above and beyond for our customers.
