As a Window Installer, you will be responsible for the expert installation of windows in residential homes, ensuring the highest level of quality, precision, and customer satisfaction. This position requires strong carpentry skills, professionalism, and the ability to work independently or lead an installation assistant as needed.\nKey Responsibilities\nConduct professional, high-quality window installations according to company standards and project specifications.\nInteract with customers in a professional manner, maintaining the integrity and reputation of Expo Home Improvement.\nEnsure all required tools, products, and materials are properly loaded and transported to job sites.\nReview contracts, materials, and project instructions before beginning each installation.\nMaintain compliance with manufacturer engineering specifications and regulatory building codes.\nAdhere to company safety procedures and maintain a clean, hazard-free job site.\nCommunicate clearly with homeowners throughout the installation process, addressing any questions or concerns.\nComplete post-installation walkthroughs with customers to demonstrate functionality and ensure satisfaction.\nPresent invoices to customers and collect final approvals upon project completion.\nAssist the Installation Manager with any duties necessary to uphold company standards and meet department goals.\nTroubleshoot unforeseen installation challenges and communicate effectively with the management team.\nKeep job sites clean throughout the installation process and ensure a thorough cleanup upon completion.\nRequirements\nQualifications & Requirements\nProven experience in window installation, carpentry, or general home remodeling.\nHigh attention to detail and ability to meet project deadlines.\nStrong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.\nProfessionalism in appearance, communication, and work ethic.\nAbility to climb stairs and ladders while carrying materials.\nReliable transportation capable of safely transporting materials and tools to job sites.\nValid driver’s license and auto insurance.\nGeneral Liability Insurance (must provide proof).\nMust supply personal tools necessary for window installation.\nCore Competencies\nTechnical Proficiency - Expertise in window installation techniques and troubleshooting.\nCustomer Service - Ability to engage professionally with homeowners and ensure satisfaction.\nTime Management - Efficiently manage workload and meet project deadlines.\nSafety Awareness - Adherence to safety regulations and best practices.\nCommunication - Clear and professional interaction with customers and team members.\nProblem-Solving - Ability to adapt to unexpected challenges and implement solutions.\nWorking Conditions\nThis is a field-based role, requiring travel to various residential job sites.\nWork is primarily performed outdoors, subject to varying weather conditions.\nAbility to lift, carry, and maneuver heavy materials and tools.\nFlexible scheduling based on project assignments.\nCompensation & Benefits\nCompetitive pay per project (1099 contractor status).\nUncapped earning potential based on completed installations.\nOngoing work opportunities with a reputable and growing home improvement company.\nEqual Opportunity Employer\nExpo Home Improvement is an equal opportunity employer.
