You should be comfortable taking ownership of a feature, asking questions when requirements are unclear, and working through problems with your team. Strong technical skills matter, and so do curiosity, clear communication, and a willingness to keep learning as the technology and our customers’ needs evolve.\nClearance: Active Secret clearance or higher is required.\nKey Responsibilities\nBuild responsive web interfaces using React, JavaScript, and TypeScript.\nDevelop and maintain Node.js services and APIs that support application features and integrations.\nWork with relational and document databases to store, retrieve, and present data effectively.\nCollaborate with teammates and customer stakeholders to understand user needs, clarify requirements, and shape solutions.\nOwn features through design, development, testing, deployment, and ongoing improvement.\nWrite maintainable code, participate in code reviews, and share approaches that help the team grow.\nInvestigate defects and performance issues, identify root causes, and implement reliable fixes.\nDocument technical decisions and communicate progress, tradeoffs, and risks clearly.\nStay curious about new tools and practices, and apply them when they make the product or development process better.\nRequired Qualifications\nAn associate degree or higher in computer science, engineering, or a related field.\nAt least five years of software engineering experience, including three years of recent full stack development experience with React, JavaScript, TypeScript, and Node.js.\nExperience developing applications in AWS or Microsoft Azure.\nExperience working with databases such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or MySQL.\nUnderstanding of object-oriented programming principles and API development.\nExperience using Git, including branching and merging.\nProficiency with the Linux or Unix command line.\nAbility to troubleshoot across the full stack, communicate findings clearly, and collaborate constructively with others.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with Elasticsearch.\nExperience with Vue or Angular.\nExperience with Google Cloud Platform or multiple cloud environments.\nVery comfortable using AI to create efficiencies in your workflows. \nWhat Success Looks Like\nYou learn how customers use the application, deliver features that solve their problems, and make the software easier to maintain as it grows.
