We envision a world where everyone can fulfill their communication potential.\nWhat You Would Be Doing\nReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.\nMaintain payer setup and readiness including fee schedules, EFT/ERA configuration, portal access, and payer profile updates.\n\nInterpret payer contracts and manuals to extract operational requirements and support clean claim submission.\n\nMonitor payer updates and policy changes, assess their impact, and assist with implementation and compliance tracking; attending new payer orientation meetings and ongoing payer training sessions.\n\nSupport audit and compliance efforts by assisting with external payer responses, conducting internal reviews, and ensuring required training is completed.\n\nMaintain up-to-date reference materials and serve as a resource to internal teams on payer rules and workflows.\n\nCollaborate cross-functionally on special projects to improve payer compliance, documentation, and training systems.\n\nWhat You Bring to Expressable\nEducation and Experience\nAssociate's or Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).\n\n3+ years of experience in medical billing, revenue cycle operations, payer compliance, or healthcare auditing.\n\nExperience working within a healthcare setting is required.\n\nFamiliarity with payer contracts, reimbursement policies, and healthcare documentation standards.\n\nMedical Billing/Coding Certification not required, but a plus.\n\nTechnical Skills\nProficiency with practice management systems, payer portals, and claims processing tools.\n\nExperience managing EFT/ERA setup, fee schedules, and provider enrollment data.\n\nStrong spreadsheet and document management skills (e.g., Google Workspace or Microsoft Office).\n\nCore Competencies\nIn addition to the competencies associated with our core values, the Contract Coordinator should bring the following:\nDetail-oriented with excellent organizational and follow-through abilities.\n\nStrong analytical and critical thinking skills to interpret payer policies and identify operational impacts.\n\nEffective verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to deliver training and simplify complex topics.\n\nAbility to collaborate cross-functionally with billing, clinical, and compliance teams in a fully remote environment.\n\nAdaptability to evolving payer requirements and healthcare regulations.\n\nWhy Join Us?\nExceptional paid time off policies that encourage and support life balance\n\n401k matching to ensure our staff have what they need to enjoy their retirement\n\nHealth insurance options that ensure well-being for the whole person and their family\n\nCompany paid life, short-term disability, and long-term disability coverage\n\nA remote work environment that strives for connectivity through professional collaboration and personal connection\n\nWork Authorization\nWe are interested in every qualified candidate who is eligible to work in the United States.
