The above range represents the organization's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.\nResponsibilities\nBenefits:\nCompetitive compensation\nRetirement plan\nHealth insurance\nVacation and sick time\nDiscounts for childcare \nA behavior support specialist for additional classroom and teacher support \nPaid training and ongoing educational opportunitie\nPreschool Teacher Responsibilities:\nPlan, implement and supervise the program for the class consistent with the centers policies, philosophy and curriculum\nKeep the classroom in compliance with all NYS regulations\nMaintain required documentation as required\nGear program to the needs of individual children in concern for their interests, special needs and talents and pace of learning.\nTeach proper health care in regards to toileting, nutrition, dental, physical care and cleaning of the children if necessary\nMaintain the ordered arrangement, appearance, décor and learning environment of the classroom\nCommunicate with parents regarding information concerning their child and their daily activities of the center and inform the director of any parent concerns\nAttend staff meetings, trainings and conferences\nQualifications\nAssociates Degree in ECE, child development, or a related field or a CDA credential, or experience working in a daycare program with a plan towards achieving an associate’s degree or a CDA credential \nWe will consider alternate education backgrounds as long as employee is willing to pursue education in early childhood\nDemonstrate knowledge of NY state child care regulations \nMust be able to get on the floor and play and lift up to 45 pounds\nMust be a sensitive mature person who is able to relate well to both children and adults\nAt Expressive Beginnings Child Care, we celebrate everyone's unique strengths and talents in an active and dynamic daycare environment.
