We think speed drives quality.\nResponsibilities\nReconciling credit card and deposit transactions daily; including purchases, accrued interest, fees, payments, and money movements.\nProviding the Controller with financial audit support\nAssisting the Controller with month end close, including, preparing journal entries, reconciliations, vendor payments, and tax filings.\nDocumenting and creating standard operating procedures\nQualifications\nPrior experience with reconciling credit card and deposit transactions\nPrior experience with month-end close processes\nMust have at least 7-10 years accounting experience (with senior capacity) or equivalent skills/credentials\nProficient with Excel, Google Sheet\nSuperb communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills\nProficiency, speed, and accuracy in written communication\nFluency, clarity, and good diction in English\nGreat organizational skills & time management abilities\nExperience using communication tools such as (ZenDesk), task management tools, Google Drive, and Email\nDetail oriented - we’re a financial services company so being correct about the details matter\nExperience working with banking or lending companies, a definite advantage\nBachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
