The Project Manager will be a hands-on leader, responsible for leading the full project lifecycle management.\nThis position will be located at our Head Office in Markham, Ontario. Extendicare offers a hybrid working environment.\nKey responsibilities include:\n- The Project Manager will be responsible for leading multiple simultaneous projects and will require a high degree of skill in prioritization and problem-solving. \n- Accountable for all project objectives which may include vendor contracting and management, solution design and implementation, communication and change management planning. \n- The Project Manager will be required to lead the stakeholder engagement activities and lead cross-functional meetings, obtaining buy in from all key stakeholders. \n- Responsible for identifying all project risks and working collaboratively with Internal and external vendor teams in developing and implementing risk management plans. \n- Communicate key project milestones, timelines, and updates to all key stakeholders across the organization from operations to senior leadership. \n- Build and maintain professional partnerships with internal business partners and support teams, that are characterized by shared responsibility and success, open communication, and transparency. \nWhat we’re looking for:\n- Hands-on project leader, able to apply critical thinking, understand complex situations, and drive solutions that help achieve project objectives. \n- History of executing projects pertaining to; CCTV, Telephony, network installations, Office 365, software deployments, and hardware refresh.\n- Bachelor's degree in information technology related discipline.\n- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience with electrical and low voltage drawings, new site construction, and budget forecasting, and in-field project management\n- Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills, with proven competence in using Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, Teams/SharePoint and PowerPoint. \n- Able to make sense of data and use a data-driven approach to problem-solving. i\n- Highly organized, with superior communication skills and the ability to clearly communicate to various stakeholders.\n- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and to pivot quickly given changing industry trends and priorities.\n- Valid G driver’s license in good standing and have access to a reliable vehicle.\n- Occasional travel to sites, homes, and new locations.\nWhat Extendicare has to offer:\nAt Extendicare, we believe that working as a team creates an environment that allows us to reach our potential.
