Understanding this mindset will provide valuable context for how we operate and what we value in our team members.\nWhat This Role Is About:\nWe are looking for a Debt Accountant to join one of our U.S.-based clients.\nYour Main Responsibilities:\nMortgage Payment & Replacement Reserve Specialist\nResponsible for confirming all mortgage payments are successfully processed each month, via various lender portals (200+ mortgage payment each month)\nPrepare, compile, and submit qualified spend to lenders for reimbursement from replacement reserve escrow accounts\nAssist in the setup, maintenance, and validation of debt instruments within Kyriba (Treasury Management System), ensuring accuracy of loan terms, balances, and payment schedules\nPrepare monthly journal entries related to debt (DLC & MTM amortization, intercompany loans, accrued mortgage interest, etc)\nPrepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations for mortgage notes payable, accrued interest, DLC, etc\nWhat We’re Looking For:\nQualifications\nStrong understanding of debt accounting, including mortgage loans, accrued interest, loan cost amortization, and intercompany financing.\nAbility to manage a high volume of recurring transactions and meet monthly deadlines with a high degree of accuracy.\nProficient in Excel, including the use of basic formulas and functions such as SUM, VLOOKUP, and PivotTables\nKnowledge of replacement reserve escrow processes and lender reimbursement requirements is a plus.\nTeam-oriented, proactive, and willing to take ownership of tasks and follow through to completion\nMust be based in the PHILIPPINES\nRequirements:\n3-5 Year Accounting Experience US GAAP and direct US client exposure, experience in real estate or property management systems, multi-entity close\nStrong recurring-entry and reconciliation skills.\nNice to Haves:\nKyriba experience\nCPA level or equivalent certifications\nTechnical Requirements:\nInternet speed minimum 30mbps: Needs to be Wired (Buy a dongle if no LAN port)\ni5 11th Gen or higher\nWindows 11 / MacOS Catalina or higher\nMinimum of 8 GB RAM\nPrivate and quiet dedicated home office area (no roosters, dogs, children's noises in the background)\nBack-ups in case of power or internet provider interruptions\nGood headset and webcam (preferably noise-canceling headset)\nWhy You’ll Love Working with Us: \nCompetitive Salary - We offer a competitive salary that reflects the candidate’s experience, skills, and responsibilities.\nRemote Work - This role is 100% remote, allowing flexibility and eliminating daily commute.\n Paid Time Off - Standard leave entitlements (vacation, sick leave, vacation leave) for rest and well-being.\n HMO Coverage - Company-provided HMO plan, offering access to medical services via accredited hospitals and clinics under a Health Maintenance Organization.
