This role will work closely with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, product managers, and system administrators, to ensure the effective use of the Salesforce platform. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Salesforce development, problem-solving skills, and a proven track record of delivering complex Salesforce projects.\nKey Responsibilities\nSalesforce Development: Design, develop, test, and deploy Salesforce solutions, including Apex classes, triggers, Visualforce pages, Lightning web components, and integrations.\nTechnical Leadership: Act as a technical expert, guiding best practices, code standards, and design decisions.\nSolution Design: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, translating them into scalable and maintainable Salesforce solutions.\nCustomization and Configuration: Implement Salesforce customizations using declarative tools (Flows) and programmatic solutions.\nIntegrations: Develop and maintain integrations between Salesforce and external systems using APIs (REST/SOAP), middleware, or other tools.\nCode Review & Best Practices: Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to Salesforce development best practices and company standards.\nPerformance Optimization: Identify areas of improvement within the Salesforce instance and recommend optimizations to enhance system performance.\nTesting and Deployment: Develop and execute unit tests, perform debugging, and support deployment through CI/CD pipelines.\nDocumentation: Maintain comprehensive technical documentation for solutions, integrations, and system processes.\nCollaboration: Work closely with business and technical teams to understand priorities and deliver timely solutions.\nContinuous Learning: Stay current with Salesforce platform updates, new tools, and industry trends to provide innovative solutions.\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent work experience).\n3+ years of experience as a Salesforce Developer, with expertise in Apex, Visualforce, SOQL, and Lightning Web Components.\nStrong understanding of Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and Salesforce CPQ.\nExperience integrating Salesforce with external systems using RESTful and SOAP APIs.\nSolid understanding of Salesforce Governor Limits, best practices, and optimization techniques.\nProficiency with Salesforce deployment tools (e.g., SFDX, Change Sets, Copado, CI/CD pipelines).\nSalesforce Platform Developer I Certification (required).\nProficiency in source control systems (e.g., Git).\nPreferred Qualifications\nSalesforce Platform Developer II Certification.\nExperience with Boomi, Heroku, or other middleware tools.\nWorking knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.\nFamiliarity with enterprise architecture and data management best practices.\nExperience in delivering Salesforce solutions in large enterprise environments.\nSkills and Competencies\nAdvanced programming skills in Apex, SOQL, and JavaScript.\nStrong problem-solving and analytical abilities.\nExcellent communication and collaboration skills.\nAbility to design scalable and efficient solutions.\nWork cooperatively with others within the organization and other cross-functional stakeholders.\nWork well in fast-paced, high-stress environments.\nHas predictable, reliable attendance.\nThe salary range for this role is $130,000 - $149,000 + bonus + benefits \nABOUT EXTRAHOP \n\nExtraHop is reinventing Network Detection and Response (NDR) to offer enterprises unparalleled visibility, context, and control against emerging threats.
