In this role, you will leverage expertise in advanced characterization techniques, including GPC (Gel Permeation Chromatography), GPC-IR, GPC-3D, TREF (Temperature Rising Elution Fractionation), and SGIC (Solvent Gradient Interaction Chromatography), to solve complex technical challenges, support product innovation, enhance manufacturing performance, and enable business growth.\nThe successful candidate will collaborate across product development, manufacturing, commercial and research organizations to generate insights into polymer structure-property-performance relationships and translate analytical findings into impactful business solutions\nJob Role Responsibilities\nProvide technical leadership in polymer separation and characterization technologies.\nDevelop, optimize, validate, and implement analytical methods to support product development, manufacturing, customer support, and market growth.\nServe as the subject matter expert for GPC and polymer fractionation techniques, including method stewardship, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement.\nApply advanced analytical tools to investigate polymer microstructure and establish structure-property-performance relationships.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to address technical challenges, support customer needs, and identify opportunities for product differentiation.\nAdvance analytical capabilities through the evaluation and implementation of emerging characterization technologies and methodologies.\nProvide technical insights and market feedback to support future product and technology development strategies.\nMonitor industry trends, customer needs, and competitive technologies to guide capability development and innovation.\nCommunicate technical findings effectively to scientific, manufacturing, commercial, and customer audiences.\nContribute to intellectual property, technical publications, and conference presentations.\nRequired Qualifications\nPh.D. in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Polymer Science, Physics, or a related discipline.\nDemonstrated expertise in polymer separation and characterization techniques, including GPC/SEC, GPC-IR, GPC with multi-detector systems, GPC-3D, TREF, and SGIC.\nExperience in analytical method development, optimization, validation, and troubleshooting.\nStrong understanding of polymer chemistry, polymer physics, and structure-property relationships.\nExcellent analytical thinking, data interpretation, and scientific problem-solving skills.\nStrong communication, collaboration, and technical leadership skills.\nSelf-motivated, organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.\nFluent in English and Chinese.\nExperience with advanced polymer characterization techniques and multidimensional separation methods.\nFamiliarity with complementary analytical tools such as rheology, spectroscopy, thermal analysis, chromatography, and microscopy.\nExperience supporting product development, manufacturing, customer technical service, or market-facing initiatives.\nKnowledge of polymer synthesis, plastics processing, and application
