You will participate in incident investigations, security monitoring, threat analysis, and vulnerability remediation activities while gaining exposure to a wide range of cybersecurity domains.\nYou will also gain hands-on experience with security operations tools, network security technologies, cloud security platforms, threat intelligence, and security analytics. We are looking for a motivated cybersecurity professional with a strong technical foundation, an investigative mindset, and a desire to grow into a well-rounded cybersecurity specialist.\nWhat you will do\nMonitor security alerts, events, and activities across enterprise environments using security monitoring and detection platforms.\nInvestigate potential cybersecurity incidents and assist with containment, remediation, and recovery activities.\nPerform triage and analysis of security events to identify threats, vulnerabilities, and suspicious behavior.\nSupport the implementation and maintenance of cybersecurity controls, standards, and best practices.\nAssist in monitoring the organization's security posture across on-premises and cloud environments.\nCollaborate with IT and business teams to investigate, resolve, and prevent security issues.\nSupport security tools and technologies including security monitoring, endpoint protection, vulnerability management, and threat detection solutions.\nAssist in identifying, assessing, and tracking security vulnerabilities and remediation efforts.\nSupport network security operations, including managing external network connectivity and firewall policy implementation.\nAnalyze security logs, alerts, and telemetry from multiple data sources to identify trends and potential risks.\nAssist in developing dashboards, reports, and visualizations that improve security monitoring and operational visibility.\nParticipate in threat hunting, threat intelligence, and proactive security monitoring activities.\nDocument security incidents, investigation findings, and response activities in accordance with established procedures.\nPromote cybersecurity awareness and advocate security best practices across the organization.\nCollaborate closely with senior cybersecurity professionals while continuously expanding technical skills across security operations, cloud security, network security, and incident response domains.\nAbout You: Skills and Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Security, or a related field.\nExperience in cybersecurity, IT operations, system administration, networking, internships, academic projects, or related technical experience.\nFundamental understanding of cybersecurity principles, threats, vulnerabilities, and security controls.\nBasic knowledge of security operations, incident response, and threat detection concepts.\nUnderstanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, firewalls, and VPN technologies.\nFamiliarity with Microsoft Windows, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure.\nExperience or exposure to security monitoring tools, SIEM platforms, endpoint protection solutions, or vulnerability management technologies.\nKnowledge of log analysis, security event investigation, and troubleshooting methodologies.\nBasic scripting or automation experience using PowerShell, Python, or similar technologies is an advantage.\nUnderstanding of security frameworks, standards, and best practices.\nStrong analytical, investigative, and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to assess information from multiple sources and make informed decisions during security investigations.\nExcellent communication and collaboration skills.\nStrong willingness to learn, take initiative, and grow within a cybersecurity operations team.\nYour Benefits\nAn ExxonMobil career is one designed to last.
