This role involves creating data models, defining data standards, and collaborating with stakeholders to align data strategies with business objectives.\nWhat you will do\nData Architecture Design:\nDevelop and maintain enterprise-level data architecture, including conceptual, logical, and physical data models.\n\nData Integration & Management:\nDesign and implement data pipelines, ETL processes, and integration strategies for structured and unstructured data sources.\n\nGovernance & Compliance:\nEstablish data governance frameworks, ensure compliance with data privacy regulations (GDPR, HIPAA, etc.), and maintain data quality standards.\n\nPerformance Optimization:\nOptimize database performance, storage, and retrieval processes for high availability and scalability.\n\nCollaboration:\nWork closely with data engineers, analysts, and business teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.\n\nTechnology Evaluation:\nAssess and recommend tools, platforms, and technologies for data management and analytics.\nAbout you\nSkills and Qualifications\nBachelor’s or master’s degree from a recognized university in Computer/IT other relevant engineering disciplines.\nMinimum 10+ years of experience with data processing / analytics, and ETL data transformation. Proficient in ingesting data to/from Snowflake, Azure storage account.\nProficiency in at least one of the following languages: Python, C#, C++, F#, Java.\nProficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases. Knowledge of SQL query development and optimization.\nDemonstrated experience Snowflake, Qlik Replicate, Fivetran, Azure Data Explorer.\nCloud azure experience (current/future) used (ADX, ADF, Databricks).\nExpertise with Airflow, Qlik, Fivetran, Azure Data Factory.\nManagement of Snowflake through DBT scripting.\nSolid understanding of data strategies, including data management, data curation, and data governance.\nAbility to quickly build relationships and credibility with business customers and agile teams.\nA passion for learning about and experimenting with new technologies.\nConfidence in creating and delivering technical presentations and training.\nExcellent organization and planning skills\nPreferred Qualifications/ Experience\n\nExperience with Airtable platform is a plus\nWorking knowledge of Azure Databricks\nWorking knowledge of various data storage technologies\nWorking knowledge of big data tools (e.g., Hadoop, MongoDB, Kafka, HDFS, YARM, etc.)\nWorking knowledge of Containers Technologies (OpenShift, Docker, Kubernetes)\nYour benefits\nAn ExxonMobil career is one designed to last.
