This position will be located in Beaumont, TX. The business coordinator / business planner uses engineering, economic, and design fundamentals to support the long term vision of the complex through leadership initiatives, project ideation, economic fundamentals, process engineering, and day to day mentoring of schedulers & early stage project planners. The business coordinator / business planner maintains working relationships with 3Ps, ExxonMobil’s Supply Organization, ExxonMobil’s Global Business Units and ExxonMobil’s Ventures group to ensure that all ongoing & future initiatives fit within site capability & logistics. The ideal candidate for this role will use their experience to lead optimization initiatives, project ideation, early stage design, and business case development, acting in a senior capacity in the organization.\nWhat you will do\nSupport daily optimization and long-term strategy, including existing asset debottlenecking & project economic evaluation\nMentor junior Engineers & Schedulers\nPlay a major role in influencing, leading and executing the long term site vision\nFoster relationships with 3P terminals, providers, and business leaders at ExxonMobil\nLead early-stage project design and detailed economic assessments for investment cases\nAbout you\nSkills and Qualifications\nB.S. in Chemical Engineering or other relevant Engineering background\nMinimum 5 years relevant work experience\nExperience in a Manufacturing / Operating Plant environment, supporting Refining or Petrochemical facilities\nPreferred Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:\nGreater than 5 years work experience in Refining or Petrochemical manufacturing environment\nExperience with feedstock or product scheduling\nExperience with economic modeling or advanced scheduling software\nCapital project development & design experience \nProcess engineering experience\nAble to demonstrate leadership, initiative, originality, teamwork, interpersonal effectiveness, and maintain relationships\nAble to present complex information with clarity and confidence to broad audiences\nYour benefits\nAn ExxonMobil career is one designed to last.
