You will leverage your expertise in engineering and project management to provide operations support, project execution and surveillance for surface facilities while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and business objectives. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, project management and stakeholder engagement.\nThis position will be based in Williston, ND.\nWhat you will do\nOperations SupportEnsure engineering controls are in place to enable safe facility operations and compliance with applicable permits and regulations.\nIdentify causes for facility downtime/upsets and evaluate remediationRegular surveillance of facilities\nIdentify issues, assess root causes, and formulate plans to address root causes.\nParticipate in or lead incident investigations\n\nIdentify causes of facility flaring/venting and evaluate remediation.\nDevelop and maintain close working relationships with Operations stakeholders.\nLiaison with regulatory and compliance teams\nProject Management and ExecutionSteward facilities additions and modificationsDocument proposed changes and stakeholder engagement via Management of Change process\nEvaluate and address risks associated with process changes (Risk Assessments, HAZOPs, FIMs workshop etc.)\nMaintain updated facility critical drawings and documents (P&IDs, C&Es etc).\n\nProject management of facility upgrade projects\nIdentify opportunities to optimize facility operation, de-bottleneck, reduce OPEX.\nDevelop and justify capital spend to support proposed facility additions and upgrades.\nDefine project scope, budget, procurement plan, risk management and accountability of spend on projects\nExecute project from FEED to Operations handover. \nDevelopment and Stewardship of Surveillance Tools\nEnsure facility process supports accurate and compliant allocations\nDevelopment of tools to track and report key facility metrics\nParticipate in HAZOPs, lead risk screenings/assessments, and identify risk mitigation opportunities.\nAbout you\nSkills and Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering or related field.\n3+ years [EL1] of experience in an Oil and Gas engineering role with a focus on facilities or upstream unconventional.\nExperience in the design, operation, and maintenance of common surface facilities systems.\nPreferred Skills and Qualifications:\nPreferred: Experience with midstream pipeline and compressor operations and maintenance; not required.\nDemonstrated experience in managing and executing projects.\nExcellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\nAbility to adapt to shifting priorities.\nAbility to understand/redline P&ID drawings.\nYour benefits\nAn ExxonMobil career is one designed to last.
