The role works closely with customers, sales teams, and distributors to deliver technical solutions, conduct equipment assessments, and support business growth through value-added services.\nLocation : Raipur, Chhattisgarh\nWhat you will do\n1. Provide technical lubrication support and reliability solutions to industrial customers to improve equipment performance and reduce downtime.\n2. Conduct lubrication audits, machinery inspections, and site assessments to identify opportunities for optimization and reliability improvement.\n3. Recommend appropriate lubricant products, application practices, and conversion opportunities based on equipment and operating conditions.\n4. Review and interpret oil analysis reports, identify potential equipment issues, and recommend corrective actions.\n5. Investigate lubrication-related equipment failures and support root cause analysis to prevent recurrence.\n6. Deliver technical presentations, training programs, and lubrication best practice workshops for customers and channel partners.\n7. Collaborate with Sales and Distributor teams to support customer retention, business growth, and new business opportunities.\n8. Prepare technical service reports, document findings, and communicate recommendations to customers and internal stakeholders.\n9. Build and maintain strong relationships with customer maintenance, reliability, operations, and engineering teams.\n10. Ensure all field activities are conducted in compliance with company, customer, safety, health, and environmental requirements.\n11. Monitor industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging lubrication technologies to enhance technical service effectiveness.\n12. Manage assigned customer accounts and projects while ensuring timely execution of technical support commitments.\nAbout You\nStrong knowledge of industrial lubricants, grease applications, and lubrication best practices.\nUnderstanding of rotating equipment, bearings, gearboxes, compressors, hydraulic systems, and other critical industrial assets.\nKnowledge of preventive, predictive and proactive maintenance principles.\nFamiliarity with oil condition monitoring and lubricant analysis.\nUnderstanding of industrial safety, health, and environmental requirements.\nSkills & Competencies\nAbility to diagnose lubrication-related equipment issues and recommend practical technical solutions.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret technical and operational data.\nAbility to conduct lubrication audits, equipment inspections, and reliability assessments.\nEffective verbal, written, and presentation skills, including the ability to deliver customer training programs.\nStrong customer engagement and stakeholder management skills.\nAbility to build trusted relationships with maintenance, reliability, engineering, and operations teams.\nStrong planning, organization, and project execution capabilities.\nAbility to work independently while effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams.\nTechnical Proficiency\nOil analysis interpretation and condition monitoring techniques.\nRoot Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) and troubleshooting methodologies.\nLubricant selection, application, storage, and contamination control practices.\nReliability and maintenance improvement principles.\nMicrosoft Office applications and CRM/digital reporting tools.\nPreferred Qualifications/ Experience\nBachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, Production, or related technical discipline) with exposure to industrial equipment, maintenance, reliability, asset management, lubrication, rotating equipment, or industrial applications\nMinimum 3 years of relevant work experience and up to 7 years of overall experience in industrial technical services, maintenance, reliability engineering, field engineering, application engineering, aftermarket support, or industrial sales support. Experience in industries such as lubricants, bearings, compressors, gearboxes, engines, pumps, industrial OEMs, maintenance services, condition monitoring, or other industrial equipment sectors will be preferred.\nExperience supporting industrial customers in sectors such as Steel, Cement, Power, Mining, Manufacturing, Automotive, Paper, or Chemicals.\nWillingness and ability to travel extensively to customer locations and industrial sites.\nAbility to work safely and adapt to various industrial working policy and procedures\nYour benefits\nAn ExxonMobil career is one designed to last.
