The department provides support worldwide to the Organizations all along the value chain from exploration through site development to production.\nWhat role you will play in our team\nThe Site Reliability Engineer is responsible for building, operating, and continuously improving IT Platform Engineering capabilities. This role focuses on designing and managing the infrastructure and tools that business capability teams use to build and deploy applications.\nThe goal is to provide stable, scalable, and self-service platforms, enabling teams to focus on delivering business value without worrying about the underlying infrastructure. This includes automating processes, providing reusable components, improving observability, and ensuring infrastructure resilience, security, and compliance.\nIn this role, you will apply industry best practices, contribute to platform evolution, and take an active role in improving reliability and operational efficiency. You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams and support production environments as needed.\nWhile this description covers a broad range of technologies, we are hiring for multiple teams. We value strong experience in some of these areas and a willingness to learn others, you are not expected to meet every requirement to apply.\n What you will do\n(this role may vary depending on the team focus and priorities)\nOperate and improve cloud and on-premise platforms\nSupport and optimize Windows and/or Linux environments\nDrive automation and Infrastructure as Code practices\nMonitor systems and improve performance, reliability, and availability\nParticipate in incident management, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis\nContribute to platform scalability, resilience, and observability improvements\nCollaborate with development teams to improve deployment and platform usage\n\nSupport underlying infrastructure components such as virtualization, storage, and data protection depending on team scope\nAbout You\nRequired qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field\n3+ years of experience in infrastructure, site reliability engineering, devops or related roles\nExperience with virtualization platforms (VMware, Nutanix, etc.)\nExposure to observability tools (Grafana, Datadog, Prometheus, etc.)\nExperience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM, Ansible, or similar)\nExperience managing production environments (Windows and/or Linux)\nExperience working with cloud platforms (Azure preferred)\nHands-on experience with scripting or programming for automation (e.g. PowerShell, Python, Bash)\nExperience with version control and CI/CD practices (e.g. Git, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions)\nStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills\nExperience working in Agile or collaborative environments\nUnderstanding of system performance, reliability, and operational best practices\nGood English communication skills (interviews will be in English)\nNice to have:\nKnowledge of networking fundamentals (DNS, firewalls, load balancing, IP addressing)\nExperience with containers or orchestration platforms (Kubernetes, OpenShift, etc.)\nFamiliarity with backend services and REST APIs\nExperience with enterprise application platforms\nThe level and seniority for this position will be determined based on the candidate’s experience and skills.
