Our offices are located across Canada.\nWhat role will you play in our team\nImperial is seeking a Procurement Contract Manager to support critical business operations across Canada by managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and driving value through effective procurement strategies.\nIn this role, you will work closely with stakeholders, suppliers, and procurement colleagues to deliver cost-effective solutions, ensure continuity of supply, and support business objectives through sound commercial decision-making.\nWhat you will do\nManage a portfolio of contracts and supplier relationships that support business operations.\nLead sourcing activities and contract negotiations to deliver value and mitigate risk.\nPartner with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and develop procurement solutions.\nAnalyze market trends, supplier capabilities, and pricing data to support sourcing decisions.\nIdentify opportunities to improve cost, service, quality, and supplier performance.\nSupport the development and execution of category and procurement strategies.\nMonitor contract compliance and manage contract amendments, renewals, and pricing updates.\nCollaborate with suppliers and internal teams to resolve commercial and supply-related challenges.\nEnsure procurement activities comply with company policies, processes, and controls.\nAbout You\nSkills and Qualifications\nBachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.\n0-5 years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, supply chain, contract management, or a related commercial role.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven recommendations.\nEffective communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.\nSelf-motivated, adaptable, and results oriented.\nPreferred Qualifications\nSCMP or similar procurement/supply chain designation.\nExperience negotiating contracts and managing supplier relationships would be an asset.\nExperience in Oil & Gas, Energy, Mining, Manufacturing, or other industrial sectors.\nKnowledge of purchase-to-pay processes and contract management practices.\nExperience supporting capital projects, maintenance, operations, or materials procurement would be an asset.\nWork Location: Calgary, AB\nStart Date: 2027\nYour Benefits\nA company committed to career growth - we recruit those who are interested in a career with Imperial and prefer to develop and promote people from within.
