You will be equipped with the required skills and knowledge, and thereby also expected to be able to work across geographic regions and leverage the strength and experience of others within our company, to ensure that we deliver maximum value to our operating site partners.\nWhat you will do\nYour primary role as a Safety & Risk Specialist will be to work from the Bengaluru office supporting one of the many ExxonMobil operating sites with Safety & Risk Management processes such as:\nHAZOP Planning and Coordination\nSafety & Risk Data Management and Analysis\nIncident Classification and Documentation\nEmergency Preparedness and Response Support\nSafety & Risk Performance Evaluation\nOIMS Process Improvements \nRequired Experience\nAbout You\nPreferred knowledge, skills & abilities\nBachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Fire & Safety Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent field from a recognized university\nMinimum 5 years of relevant work experience in petrochemical, refining, oil & gas industry in Technical, Operations, and/or Safety roles.\nExperience working at an oil & gas production, refinery or petrochemical facility and an understanding of process flows \nFamiliarity and experience with common industry safety processes:Risk Management\nHAZOP Studies\nIncident Management/Investigation\nSafety Data Analysis\nEmergency Preparedness & Response\nManagement of Change\nSafety incident classification (injury, illness, process safety event, etc.)\nSafety metrics reporting\n\nAdvanced skills in Microsoft Office Applications (Power Point and Excel)\nGood working knowledge of data collection systems and processes (e.g. Enablon, based enterprise tools)\nProven critical thinking & analytical capabilities (data processing, statistical analysis, benchmarking).\nProficiency in data analysis and visualization tools desired (e.g. JMP, Power BI, Power Query, SQL) preferred\nNEBOSH Certification preferred\nWillingness to work full-time from Bengaluru based office location\nWillingness to work in shifts (1.30 PM - 10.30 PM IST) or (9:00 AM -6:00 PM IST)\nJob Segment: Safety Engineer, Sustainability\nFunctional Skills\nAssess & Improve Operations Integrity\nApplied Human Performance\nTransformative Learning from High Potential Events\nEmergency Preparedness\nAlternate Location:\nNothing herein is intended to override the corporate separateness of local entities.
