The ideal candidate will have a strong technical foundation, software development, strategic thinking capabilities, and the ability to collaborate across teams to ensure scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions for the business at ExxonMobil.\nWhat you will do\nDesigns and supports the development of technology systems that meet business needs, with a focus on platform operations and reliability\nDevelop and deliver roadmap and planning product lifecycle (DBM record maintenance, upgrades, retirements, etc.)\nDevelop and maintain System Architecture models (e.g. System Interaction diagram) and reference implementations within the system of record (e.g. Portfolio Management and Enterprise Architecture tools)\nVerify stability, interoperability, portability, security, and scalability of the system architecture\nWorks mostly across physical architecture levels; creates the physical reference architecture diagrams\nEvaluate and guide selection of technologies required to introduce new system(s) to meet business needs\nDeep system, product, and/or capability knowledge (recognized expert) - combined with basic infrastructure knowledge and experience\nAbout you\nSkills and Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree from an accredited university\n10+ years of experience in Software development and architecture\nStrong experience with cloud platforms, especially Microsoft Azure.\nExpertise in designing microservices, serverless architectures, and distributed systems.\nProficiency in .NET Core, ASP.NET, and front-end frameworks like Angular/React.\nExperience with authentication/authorization using Azure Active Directory (Entra ID).\nStrong understanding of database design and optimization (SQL Server).\nFamiliarity with CI/CD tools like Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.\nExperience with system integration, API design, and enterprise architecture frameworks.\nPreferred Qualifications/ Experience\n\nExposure to Python and willingness to upskill.\nExperience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).\nKnowledge of event-driven architecture and messaging systems.\nYour benefits\nAn ExxonMobil career is one designed to last.
