As a senior manager, the opportunity to assess and improve our clients’ reporting policies and corporate governance processes will impact these ever-challenging areas during transformational and regulatory changes.\nYour key responsibilities\nLeading diverse teams with varying skillsets, who use different Data and Analytics technologies.\nAdapting your leadership style to fit team, client, and cultural needs, they will look to you to anticipate and identify risks and escalate issues as appropriate.\nAs an influential member of the team, you’ll create a positive learning culture and will coach and counsel junior members of the team sharing best practices, industry trends and technical knowledge to foster professional growth and development.\nLead the design and implementation of data artefacts, including data modelling, data integration, data storage, and data governance based on industry best practices and client-specific requirements.\nHands-on experience on data modelling techniques to create Enterprise Data Models.\nImplementing data management concepts (Metadata Management, Data Quality, Data Testing).\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders, to translate business requirements into technical specifications and architectural designs.\nConduct assessment of existing data architectures, identify areas of improvement, and recommend remediation plans to optimise data management process and systems.\nDevelop data migration strategies and oversee the execution of data migration activities, ensuring data integrity and minimal disruption to client operations.\nAct as a trusted advisor to clients, offering expert insights and recommendations on data architecture, data governance, data quality and data security matters.\nStay current with emerging technologies, trends, and industry standards in data architecture and management, and provide thought leadership to drive innovation and enhance our consulting offerings.\nSkills and attributes for success\nTo qualify for the role, you must have\nThird level qualification in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related discipline, or relevant experience related to the position.\nMinimum of 7 years of experience in data analysis and strategy, with a proven track record of creating impactful visual stories from complex datasets.\nAt least 2 years of consulting experience providing strategic guidance and hands-on implementation while building trusted advisor relationships.\nStrong expertise in data modelling, database design, and SQL, with experience in multiple database platforms.\nExtensive knowledge of data integration techniques, ETL processes, and data warehouse design.\nExperience in designing and implementing data governance frameworks and practices.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand complex business requirements and design innovative data solutions.\nExcellent client-facing skills, with the ability to build rapport, communicate effectively, and manage relationships with clients at various levels of the organisation.\nStrong leadership abilities, with the capacity to lead and mentor a team of consultants and drive successful project outcomes.\nIdeally, you will also have\nThe ability to demonstrate keeping pace with industry trends and apply best practices to data strategy and operations.\nFamiliarity with a wide range of database technologies, both traditional and modern, including relational databases, NoSQL databases, and cloud-based data platforms.\nProfessional certifications in NoSQL databases is a plus.\nWhat we look for\nWe are looking for candidates who are:\nInnovative and agile, with a purpose-driven mindset.\nInclusive and able to work effectively in diverse teams.\nPassionate about technology and eager to learn and grow.\nClient-focused, with a strong commitment to delivering exceptional service.\nWhat working at EY offers\nWe offer a competitive remuneration package.
