Join EY and help to build a better working world.\nThe opportunity\nThe Communications Supervising Associate will play a pivotal role in enhancing our internal communications strategy within the Americas Tax Service Line. This position requires a proactive individual with strong communication skills, a keen eye for detail, ability to collaborate with several stakeholders across the firm and proficiency in various digital tools. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and managing internal news articles and newsletters, presentations, and emails, as well as maintaining process guides and data metrics.\nThe role receives general supervision and is competent to work independently within the area of communications activities. Review of work generally occurs at longer intervals.\nYour key responsibilities\nSupport the business function's communication strategy, working with the Communications and Engagement team and internal and external stakeholders to support the function's objectives.\nIdentify content opportunities, engage with subject matter experts, secure appropriate reviews and approvals, and edit as needed.\nEdit and review content to ensure grammatical accuracy, adherence to quality standards, and compliance with brand guidelines.\nManage channels for the business function, including mailings, newsletters, internal articles and news page, and more.\nLeverage communications knowledge and expertise to ensure consistent messaging across all audiences.\nLiaise with the video production team on various internal and external videos.\nCollect and analyze metrics to gauge reach, engagement, and other performance measures for internal communication campaigns, helping to inform results-based decision making.\nWork with Service Lines, Industry and/or functional groups to develop a communications plan for specific client groups.\nParticipate in other functional/internal client programs as required.\nEffectively prioritize work and balance multiple priorities simultaneously to meet client commitments and deadlines.\nSkills and attributes for success\nAbility to comprehend domain-specific contexts, concepts and terminologies.\nProven experience collaborating with Brand, Marketing, and Communications teams and various stakeholders at all levels.\nDemonstrated ability to work and communicate with people at all levels.\nAbility to adapt to a constantly changing and growing business environment.\nEffective verbal and written communication skills, including superior editing, proofing, and proficiency with grammar.\nExcellent presentation, interpersonal, and verbal communication skills.\nExceptional organization skills and attention to detail.\nDemonstrated project management skills.\nJournalistic sense for creating great content, with the ability to identify key messages and interpret these for the wider audience.\nSophisticated analytical thinking to make decisions and identify innovative solutions.\nTo qualify you must have\nA bachelor's degree with a communications or related major, or equivalent experience.\nTypically no less than 4-6 years of relevant experience.\nProficiency in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Stream, Microsoft Copilot, Adobe Analytics, Power BI and other applicable AI tools.\nIdeally, you'll also have\nPrevious experience in large, matrix organizations or other Big Four organizations.\nBasic understanding of Adobe Acrobat/PDF-XChange, Adobe platform, OneAccess, Marketo and Process Management.\nNote: This job description is intended as a guide to reflect the principal functions of the job. The base salary range for this job is: \nNew York City, Boston, and Washington DC Metro Areas, Washington State, and Southern California offices - $89,800 to $152,600\nBay Area California offices - $93,500 to $159,000\nAll other offices locations in the US, including Sacramento - $74,800 to $139,900 \n\nIndividual salaries within these ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography.
