Formed in the Year 2007, the Risk Management team is growing rapidly as a Centre of Excellence for all standardized quality / compliance related activities that can be efficiently undertaken from Global Delivery Services location.\nThe opportunity\nThe volume and complexity of legal and regulatory requirements which EY is required to meet, continues to grow, and as a result the quality of EY policies is required to continually improve. The current opportunity to join the Executive Risk Management (RM) Policy team provides the successful candidate an opportunity to learn and grow while understanding the best practices in corporate policy and support the delivery of new and refreshed policies across the organization.\nThe role also offers the successful candidate the opportunity to work with senior members of the Policy team and across business enablement functions, and service lines more broadly to increase visibility and awareness of EY policies.\nThis position is ideal for a team player who likes to maintain daily virtual contact with people across locations and teams. This position is designed for people who like to be challenged and want to grow in a dynamic, multi-cultural environment with modern tools. They will report to the Assistant Manager in the Policy team.\nYour key responsibilities\nTechnical Expertise:\nPerform initial review of submissions from client teams, evaluate completeness, accuracy, and appropriateness of proposed policy requests\nDeliver high quality, client-ready output with minimal supervision\nKnowledge of web publishing technologies like Adobe CMS, Adobe AEM, HTML, CSS, JS will be added advantage\nWork independently to drive the process requests to completion\nIndividual will reference existing policies, will need to research on EY platforms and propose solutions to issues\nSupport strategic and complex processes as well as ad hoc projects at GDS-RMS\nAssist in transitioning new processes from Risk Management at Global or Regions to GDS\nSupport and manage key operational activities at the RM Executive\nSkills and attributes for success\nBe able to manage client expectations in changing environment while maintaining a professional working style\nAbility to work in a deadline driven environment\nPossess excellent communication skills (oral and written)\nBring innovation to improve processes and work products, and have the ability to learn/ adapt quickly when required\nAbility to manage multiple projects with accuracy, timeliness, and problem-solving skills\nStrong commitment to quality and self-motivated learning\nClient-focused with an eye for detail and potential issues/ conflicts to manage the risks before they occur\nWillingness to work more than standard hours, as needed\nTo qualify for the role, you must have\nMBA degree with 0-4 years of experience\nAbsolute fluency in spoken and written English; excellent listening comprehension skills\nAbility to work independently with well-developed problem-solving skills and understanding of processes\nExcellent knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook and Teams)\nTableau, Power Bi or other data visualization skills would be an added advantage\nTechnical understanding of, and experience in the RM function would be preferred\nIdeally, you’ll also have\nKnowledge on difference between risk advisory and risk management\nPresentation skills\nCritical thinking skills with the ability to independently solve problems with data analysis\nTechnologies and Tools\nExperience in MS office suites like Microsoft Office Suite i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams, Power Bi, Power Automate etc.\nWhat you can look for\nA Team of people with commercial acumen, technical experience and enthusiasm to learn new things in this fast-moving environment\nA team which has its foundation in the core values of trust, respect and teaming\nThe team which focuses on supporting its colleagues to excel in their respective domains and provides avenues to help acquire and demonstrate new skills\nOpportunities to work with Global risk management teams on strengthening and monitoring EY policies and compliance framework\nWhat we offer\nEY Global Delivery Services (GDS) is a dynamic and truly a global delivery network.
