This role is an excellent opportunity for an early-career professional to develop a strong foundation in audit and assurance within a structured, supportive, and high-quality learning environment.\nKey Responsibilities\nAssist in the delivery of audit engagements in accordance with EY audit methodology and professional standards\nPerform audit procedures on key financial statement areas\nPrepare audit working papers and documentation in line with audit quality requirements\nAssist with walkthroughs and testing of internal controls\nSupport audit seniors and managers with engagement fieldwork and administration\nInteract professionally with client finance teams to obtain audit evidence\nUse audit tools and Microsoft Excel to perform and document audit procedures\nTake responsibility for assigned tasks and complete them accurately and on time\nTo qualify for the role you must be\nAccounting Technician qualification (qualified or finalist) or equivalent accounting experience\nStrong attention to detail and organised approach to work\nAbility to work effectively as part of a team\nWillingness to learn and take feedback constructively\nBasic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word\nIdeally, you’ll also have\nPrevious experience in audit, accounting, or a finance function\nExposure to financial statements prepared under FRS 102 or IFRS\nFuture Career Progression\nThis role is designed as an entry point into the Audit profession.
