In this role, you will be required to offer expert advice, planning, and practical assistance to EY's clients who want to move their IT infrastructure to a cloud-based system. This individual will be part of a diverse team of innovative and talented professionals, committed to providing top-tier consulting services to our clients and must ability to manage multiple client engagements simultaneously.\nYour Key Responsibilities:\nWork with a variety of Canadian clients across different industries to understand their specific cloud computing needs and objectives.\nDesign and implement tailored cloud infrastructure, applications, and platform solutions.\nCreate and execute cloud implementation strategies, specific to each client.\nMonitor, maintain, and troubleshoot cloud-based systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.\nBuild and engineer AI-enabled cloud platforms using AI Engineering best practices, incorporating scalable architecture, security, automation, observability, and responsible AI principles.\nTrain and support clients during the cloud transition process, maintaining good client relationships.\nDevelop comprehensive backup and recovery strategies that comply with Canadian business continuity standards.\nCommunicate complex cloud concepts, ensuring that relevant stakeholders understand the risks and benefits.\nFollow EY methodologies and use EY tools to deliver seamless and compelling cloud solutions.\nStay current with trends and developments in cloud computing, with a particular focus on their relevance to the Canadian market.\nEnsure EY's quality and professional standards are maintained.\nCollaborate with other EY teams to create integrated solutions.\nTo qualify for this role you must have:\nBachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, Systems Engineering, or a related field. Higher degree or equivalent experience is preferred.\n3-5 years of design and implementation experience as a Cloud Engineer with prior consulting experience.\nDesigning and deploying scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant systems majorly on Azure cloud platforms.\nImplementing and managing Azure cloud infrastructure and services, including compute, storage, networking, and databases.\nMigrating existing on-premises applications and services to the cloud.\nDesign and implement robust cloud infrastructure solutions and develop and manage hub and spoke architecture on the Azure platform.\nUnderstanding of AI Engineering practices i.e. designing Generative AI and AI-enabled applications, including LLMs, RAG, vector search, agents, evaluation, guardrails, and AI observability.\n Experience in Automation (must have) and Orchestration:\nAutomating repetitive tasks using scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) and infrastructure as code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).\nHands-on experience with AKS/GKE/Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, container registries, networking, security, autoscaling, and troubleshooting cloud-native workloads.\nExperience implementing automated delivery pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, GitOps, testing, security scanning, and deployment automation. \n Experience in Security and Compliance and Maintenance & Optimization:\nExperience with Azure identity, RBAC, secrets management, network security, policy, compliance, vulnerability management, and secure cloud/container architectures.\nmplementing and managing security measures such as firewalls, identity and access management (IAM), and encryption & conducting security audits and risk assessments.\nUnderstanding of SRE practices, including reliability, availability, resiliency, incident management, capacity management, performance engineering, and production readiness.\nExperience in Collaboration and Support:\nCollaborating with development teams to support DevOps practices and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.\nMust have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, French language skills is a plus.\nWillingness to travel, as needed, to meet client needs and project commitments.\nExhibits EY’s values - integrity, respect, and teaming, energy, enthusiasm, and the courage to lead.\nWhat we offer\nAt EY, our Total Rewards package supports our commitment to creating a leading people culture - built on high-performance teaming - where everyone can achieve their potential and contribute to building a better working world for our people, our clients and our communities.
