Reporting to a Manager or Senior Manager, they will assist the management team in developing and coaching team members as well as ensuring that resources are deployed effectively\nThe opportunity\nThe job holder will work on Australia Corporate entities Financials and Income tax returns\nYour key responsibilities\nClient responsibilities\nDemonstrate a very high level of proficiency in tax technical knowledge relevant to financial statement and tax return for Australia corporate entities.\nAlso have good understanding Analyzing Trial balance, general ledger and tax sensitive accounts.\nDemonstrate an understanding of more complex technical issues\nDrive the tax return preparation process, review complex tax returns and other tax deliverables\nAble to prepare the statement of taxable income, necessary tax adjustments, Tax effect accounting and consolidation groups, Thin Cap adjustments etc.\nGood knowledge of OneSource software\nEstablish and maintain long-term relationships with the clients and internal colleagues\nExplore opportunities to bring more work to the GDS and to EY by consistently providing high quality work\nSupervise day to day operations and engagement milestones with little or no manager involvement\nDemonstrate leadership skills in developing the highest performing teams\nHelp Senior Managers and Managers with advisory and ad-hoc projects\nDevelop engagement and financial management skills by managing own and/or other’s impact on project economics,\nincluding controlling costs, monitoring budget to actual differences\nContribute process improvement ideas leading to higher quality service delivery to the client or greater efficiency in the\ncompliance process\nIdentify opportunities to leverage information and resources across assignments and teams\nPeople responsibilities\nFacilitate teaming and manage conflicts\nMotivate and inspire team members\nLead by example and be a role model\nContribute actively to creating a high performing team\nAssist Seniors and Managers on special projects, as requested\nSkills and attributes for success\nDemonstrate an understanding of more complex technical issues\nEffective communication skills - being articulate, thoughtful, and adapting communication to target audiences.\nGood analytical, numeric and people management skills\nTo qualify for the role, you must have\nDemonstrate a very high level of proficiency in tax technical knowledge relevant Australia Corporate entities income tax experience\nGood English skills\nGood with MS office - word, excel, outlook etc.\nHave formal education in commerce/ finance\nWhat we look for\nBachelors or Masters degree in finance/commerce\n3+ years of working with major global corporation (Big 4, Finance shared services etc.)\nWhat we offer\nEY Global Delivery Services (GDS) is a dynamic and truly global delivery network.
