This position requires deep expertise in process excellence, process engineering, and solution design. The contractor will support a cross-functional initiative to streamline the briefing workflow for five user groups, conduct a gap analysis of existing documentation, and contribute to the design of a standardized operating process along with an associated tech-enabled solution.\nYour key responsibilities\nProcess Analysis & Gap Assessment\nConduct detailed gap analysis on all existing documents, workflows, and SOPs related to the briefing activities.\nIdentify discrepancies, process risks, redundancies, and inconsistencies across the five stakeholder groups.\nCreate a standardized, end-to-end process view that aligns with desired business outcomes and integrates best practices.\nProcess Engineering & Standardization\nRedesign and optimize workflows to simplify operations, reduce friction, and improve cycle times.\nDevelop standard operating procedures (SOPs), process maps, RACI matrices, and control mechanisms.\nApply Lean, Six Sigma, or process re-engineering principles to remove waste and enhance efficiency.\nSolutioning & Technology Enablement\nCollaborate with solution consultants to define the solutioning approach, tech stack recommendations, and future-state architecture.\nTranslate business requirements into functional and non-functional requirements for technology teams.\nSupport creation of solution flow diagrams, data flow maps, integration requirements, and user journey mapping.\nStakeholder Management & Collaboration\nWork closely with business teams, tech teams, and user groups to understand needs and pain points.\nRun workshops, requirement-gathering sessions, and walkthroughs with process owners.\nEnsure seamless coordination between the identified Business Analyst and solutioning consultant.\nDocumentation & Governance\nPrepare high-quality BRDs, FRDs, process documentation, workflow diagrams, and user stories.\nSupport estimation, effort sizing, and traceability across project stages.\nMaintain strong governance on scope, change requests, and process adherence.\nSkills and attributes for success\n5-8 years of experience as a Business Analyst with strong grounding in process engineering and process excellence.\nProven experience in gap analysis, SOP development, workflow design, and business process mapping.\nStrong understanding of digital workflows, low-code/no-code solutions, and enterprise tech stacks.\nHands-on experience with tools such as Visio, Miro, Lucidchart, Azure DevOps / Jira.\nExpertise in Lean / Six Sigma, process diagnostics, and continuous improvement methodologies.\nStrong communication and stakeholder management skills across technical and non-technical teams.\nTo qualify for the role, you must have\n5-8 years of experience as a Business Analyst with strong grounding in process engineering and process excellence.\nGraduate - Bachelor’s degree - Any discipline\nExceptional communication skills - both written and verbal\nExperience setting up Project Governance frameworks\nExperience in creating and managing Project related artifacts e.g., Plans, RACI, Risk Register, Budget tracker etc\nHands-on experience managing projects using Agile/Waterfall methodologies\nDemonstrate strong organizational skills and structured thinking abilities\nProven experience in building strong relationships at Senior management / Executive level\nWillingness to adjust responsibilities to align with developing business needs\nProven track record of delivering results through cross-functional teams, in a highly matrixed environment.\nFlexible to Support various Global Time Zones\nIdeal, if you’ll also have\nLean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher\nBPM / Process Modelling certifications\nAgile BA certification (IIBA, ECBA, CCBA, CBAP)\nTechnologies and Tools\nExpert in MS Project / Planner/ Word / PowerPoint / Excel - working knowledge of MS office.\nAzure DevOps exposure (desirable)\nWhat we look for\nTime Management\nListening skills\nCommunication skills (Comprehend, verbal & written)\nExcellent Stakeholder management skills\nDue diligence and process oriented\nWhat we offer\nEY Global Delivery Services (GDS) is a dynamic and truly global delivery network.
