You will work closely with business stakeholders, security teams, privacy professionals, records management teams, and technology leaders to deliver practical solutions that protect sensitive information while enabling business objectives.\nThis is a client-facing role that combines business analysis, project management, stakeholder engagement, and technical consulting.\nThis position falls within our Consulting practice, which helps our clients enhance the effectiveness of operations functions by assisting them as they shift their emphasis from transaction-level control, processing and reporting to more value driven, decision support and analytics.\nThis job posting relates to an existing vacancy within our organization.\nYour key responsibilities\n\nClient Delivery\nLead business and technical workshops to gather requirements, understand current-state processes, identify risks, and document future-state requirements.\nFacilitate stakeholder discussions across Information Security, Privacy, Legal, Records Management, Compliance, Risk, and Technology teams.\nSupport current-state assessments, maturity assessments, gap analyses, and roadmap development activities.\nDevelop client deliverables including:\nCurrent-State Assessment Reports\nBusiness Requirements Documents\nTechnical Solution Design Documents\nData Classification Standards\nDLP Use Case Catalogues\nGovernance Frameworks and Operating Models\nRoadmaps and Implementation Plans\nExecutive Presentations and Status Reports\nConduct documentation reviews and analysis of data governance, information management, privacy, security, and compliance processes.\nAssist in the design and implementation of Microsoft Purview capabilities including Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Data Classification, Sensitivity Labels, Records Management, Data Lifecycle Management, and Insider Risk Management.\nCoordinate testing, pilot activities, user acceptance validation, and deployment readiness activities.\nProject Management & Coordination\nSupport the day-to-day management of project activities, timelines, dependencies, risks, issues, and action items.\nDevelop and maintain project plans, RAID logs, status reports, meeting minutes, and executive updates.\nCoordinate workshops, working sessions, steering committees, and project governance meetings.\nTrack deliverables and project milestones to support successful project execution.\nManage stakeholder communications and follow-up activities across multiple workstreams.\nSupport change management, communications, training, and transition-to-operations activities.\nData Protection & Governance Advisory\nSupport clients in developing and operationalizing data protection programs.\nAssist with the development of:\nData Governance Frameworks\nData Classification Programs\nData Loss Prevention (DLP) Programs\nRetention and Records Management Programs\nData Protection Operating Models\nPrivacy and Regulatory Compliance Assessments\nAnalyze business processes and identify opportunities to enhance protection of sensitive information.\nEvaluate regulatory, privacy, and compliance requirements and translate them into business and technical requirements.\nPractice Development\nContribute to proposals, statements of work, estimates, and client presentations.\nSupport development of EY data protection methodologies, accelerators, templates, and reusable assets.\nParticipate in internal knowledge-sharing and capability-building initiatives.\nMentor junior team members and contribute to team development.\nTo qualify for the role, you must have:\n3-7 years of experience in cybersecurity, data protection, privacy, information governance, compliance, or a related field.\nExperience leading workshops and gathering business and technical requirements.\nExperience developing professional client-facing documentation and presentations.\nExperience managing project activities and coordinating multiple stakeholders.\nKnowledge of one or more of the following:\nStrong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills.\nAbility to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.\nStrong Microsoft Office skills, particularly PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Teams.\nBachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Information Management, Business, Risk Management, or a related discipline.\nIdeally, You'll Also Have\nExperience working within a consulting environment.\nExperience supporting Microsoft Purview implementations.\nFamiliarity with privacy and regulatory frameworks (PIPEDA, GDPR, HIPAA, HIA, NIST, ISO 27001).\nProfessional certifications such as:\nSC-400\nSC-900\nCDPSE\nPMP\nWhat we look for\nWe're looking for highly motivated professionals who are passionate about helping organizations protect sensitive information and manage risk.
