Our team is part of EY’s Europe Central (EC) cluster, delivering market leading services to organizations across industries in Cyprus and internationally.\nKey Responsibilities\nDefine and advise clients on data strategies and target-state architectures.\n\nDesign modern data and analytics solutions leveraging cloud technologies.\n\nReview solution designs, technical specifications, and project requirements to ensure alignment with architectural best practices.\n\nLead the design of data architectures including data integration, data modelling, data warehousing, and lakehouse solutions.\n\nAssess and recommend technologies for data management, analytics, and AI-driven solutions.\n\nDefine the scope, approach, and high-level architecture for data transformation initiatives.\n\nCollaborate with business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable and sustainable solutions.\n\nConduct architecture assessments and identify opportunities for optimization and modernization.\n\nSkills and Attributes for Success\nProven experience as a Data Architect, Solution Architect, or similar role.\n\nStrong understanding of modern data architecture patterns, including Data Warehouse, Data Lake, Data Lakehouse, and Data Mesh.\n\nExperience reviewing technical designs, architecture documentation, or solution proposals.\n\nStrong knowledge of data modelling, data integration, and analytics architectures.\n\nExperience with cloud platforms. (GCP preferrable)\n\nAbility to work across business and technical teams and communicate complex concepts effectively.\n\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.\n\nIt will be aplus If you have\nStrong business understanding of the financial sector (Insurance or Banking)\n\nExperience working with public sector or large-scale transformation programmes.\n\nKnowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks and architecture review processes.\n\nRelevant cloud, architecture, or data certifications.\n\nExperience with modern analytics platforms such as Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, Snowflake, or BigQuery.\n\nExperience with lean/agile software development\n\nWhat we offer you\nAt EY, we’ll develop you with future-focused skills and equip you with world-class experiences.
