ecosystems, including data ingestion, transformation, storage, analytics, and governance capabilities\nDefine and implement data lakehouse architectures leveraging Databricks to support advanced analytics, BI, AI/ML, and regulatory reporting use cases\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to define data strategies, governance frameworks, operating models, and best practices for enterprise data management\nEvaluate and recommend data platforms, tools, and capabilities to enhance client data maturity, platform performance, and long-term scalability\nEnsure data solutions are optimized for performance, reliability, cost efficiency, and security, implementing continuous improvements as needed\nSupport the integration of data engineering, analytics, and machine learning workloads within Databricks environments\nAdvise clients on data modernization journeys, including migration from legacy data warehouses and fragmented data platforms to cloud-based lakehouse architectures\nSkills and attributes for success\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, Data Science, or a related field\nMinimum of 8 years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or analytics platform design, with at least 5 years in a senior or lead role\nStrong experience designing and delivering modern data platforms on cloud environments, with hands-on expertise in Databricks as a core technology\nProficiency in data engineering and transformation technologies such as SQL, Python, Spark, PySpark, and orchestration / pipeline development tools\nStrong understanding of Databricks Lakehouse architecture, Delta Lake, notebooks, jobs, workflows, cluster management, and performance optimization\nExperience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud, including related data services and ecosystem integration\nSolid understanding of data modeling, ETL/ELT design patterns, data warehousing, data lakes, and large-scale distributed data processing\nExperience with data governance, data quality, metadata management, lineage, and security controls across enterprise data platforms\nExcellent communication and collaboration skills; ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment; strong problem-solving and analytical abilities\nFull professional proficiency in English (written and spoken) and demonstrated integrity in a professional environment\nIdeally you`ll also\nHold databricks-related certifications such as Databricks Certified Data Engineer Associate / Professional or Databricks Certified Solution Architect\nPossess certifications on cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud, especially in data engineering or analytics specializations\nDemonstrate experience with Unity Catalog, MLflow, Delta Live Tables, Databricks Workflows, and other advanced Databricks capabilities\nHave exposure to real-time / streaming data technologies, such as Kafka, Spark Structured Streaming, or event-driven architectures\nShowcase experience supporting AI/ML use cases on top of Databricks platforms\nBe familiar with BI and
