automation and enterprise analytics.\nYour key responsibilities\nExecute and coordinate assigned technical work across the design, development, testing, deployment and production support of enterprise data solutions.\nManage defined technical deliverables and workstreams, escalating risks, dependencies and decisions to the Assistant Director when required.\nInvestigate technical and production issues, perform root-cause analysis and coordinate fixes with development, testing and business teams.\nReview code, configurations, data models, data pipelines, business logic and technical documentation for completeness, accuracy and adherence to established standards.\nTranslate stakeholder requirements into clear technical tasks, acceptance criteria and delivery plans.\nSupport quality-assurance and user-acceptance testing, including test-case preparation, defect investigation, resolution tracking and validation of completed fixes.\nProduce and maintain technical specifications, process documentation, operating procedures, support guides and knowledge-transfer materials.\nProvide day-to-day technical guidance, share leading practices, support less-experienced colleagues and promote consistent development, testing and documentation standards.\nSupport onshore and offshore transitions through structured knowledge transfer, technical and operational handovers, dependency tracking and post-transition stabilization.\nCoordinate across geographies and time zones to ensure technical issues are assigned, tracked and resolved.\nSkills and attributes for success\nStrong data-engineering knowledge across data ingestion and integration, transformation and orchestration, data modelling, data quality and reconciliation, testing and validation, monitoring, issue management, deployment and production support.\nAbility to review technical designs and work products, identify issues and recommend practical improvements.\nAbility to provide technical guidance while operating effectively as an individual contributor.\nCollaborative approach, with a willingness to share knowledge, mentor colleagues, resolve issues and provide constructive ownership, communication and follow-through.\nTo qualify for the role, you must have\nA bachelor's degree in Computer Science or an equivalent technology-related discipline, such as Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Data Engineering, Data Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Applied Mathematics or another quantitative field with a significant computing component. \n2-5 years of progressive professional experience in data engineering, data platforms, analytics engineering, business intelligence or related technology-delivery roles.\nHands-on experience developing or supporting data and analytics solutions using Azure Databricks and/or Microsoft Fabric, with experience in at least one of these platforms required.\nExperience building, maintaining or troubleshooting data pipelines and integrations across multiple systems and data sources.\nExperience supporting the design, development, testing, deployment and production operation of enterprise data solutions.\nExperience independently managing defined technical deliverables or workstreams.\nExperience investigating technical issues, performing root-cause analysis and coordinating fixes.\nExperience reviewing technical outputs, data pipelines, business logic and supporting documentation.\nExperience supporting testing activities and maintaining technical and operational documentation.\nExperience supporting onshore/offshore transitions, knowledge transfer, handovers and stabilization.\nIdeally, you'll also have\nExperience with Azure AI Foundry.\nExperience designing, creating, configuring or supporting AI and data agents using Databricks Genie, Microsoft Fabric Data Agents or comparable agent-based technologies.\nExperience implementing generative AI, natural-language analytics, conversational data experiences or AI-enabled business insights.\nExperience with Power BI, semantic models, DAX, Power Query or related Microsoft analytics The base salary range for this job is: \nNew York City, Boston, and Washington DC Metro Areas, Washington State, and Southern California offices - $104,600 to $177,900\nBay Area California offices - $109,000 to $185,300\nAll other offices locations in the US, including Sacramento - $87,200 to $163,000\n\nIndividual salaries within these ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography.
