EWT will also support our internal technology needs by focusing on a better user experience.\nInformation Security (Info Sec) - Info Sec prevents, detects, responds and mitigates cyber-risk, protecting EY and client data, and our information management systems.\nThe opportunity\nThis role is responsible for leading platform development, maintenance, and support across enterprise systems. This role involves managing technical teams, resolving complex platform issues, implementing infrastructure projects and developing technical standards. The individual collaborates with key stakeholders to ensure the effective deployment of new technologies and maintains high service levels through continuous improvement initiatives.\nYour key responsibilities\nHire, evaluate, and supervise team members, providing training and guidance to develop skills and enhance performance.\nGood technical knowledge in Kubernetes and AWS Serverless services\nManage and resolve complex platform issues escalated from staff.\nOversee the implementation, monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintenance of platform technologies across all systems.\nDevelop and implement changes to department policies and procedures to address evolving business needs and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.\nLead quality initiatives to enhance service delivery and ensure critical technology maintenance is completed.\nCollaborate with key stakeholders to develop and maintain platform standards and implement new technologies for enterprise-wide infrastructure projects.\nEstablish and manage technical standards to meet organizational needs, evaluating IT vendor products and services for ongoing performance.\nUnderstand business functions and requirements to determine the best technical tools for addressing user needs.\nParticipate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.\nSkills and attributes for success\nA team player with strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills\nConstantly updating yourself about new technologies in the market\nA winning personality and the ability to become a trusted advisor to the stakeholders\nTo qualify for the role, you must have\nMinimum 8 years of relevant work experience in platform engineering or a related field.\nBachelor’s degree (B.E./B.Tech) in Computer Science or IT, or Bachelor’s in Computer Applications (BCA), or Master’s in Computer Applications (MCA).\nStrong knowledge of platform architecture, infrastructure management, and software development.\nExpertise in developing, testing, debugging, and implementing scalable software platforms.\nExperience with technical documentation, database technologies, and software programming languages.\nAbility to lead technical teams, drive continuous improvement, and implement strategic platform initiatives.\nStrong problem-solving skills and experience working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.\nIdeally, you’ll also have\nStrong verbal and written communication, facilitation, relationship-building, presentation and negotiation skills.\nBe highly flexible, adaptable, and creative.\nComfortable interacting with senior executives (within the firm and at the client)\nWhat we look for\nStrong teamwork, work ethic, product mindset, client centricity and a relentless commitment to EY values.\nWhat working at EY offers\nWe offer a competitive remuneration package where you’ll be rewarded for your individual and team performance.
